Properties 3 3 Sickle-Sofia Property – Toodoggone Camp Jointly owned by BCGold Corp (51%) & Stealth Minerals (49%). 9,077 hectare property 35 km from AuRico’s Kemess Mine which produced 3 million ozs gold and 750 million pounds copper $3.0 M in exploration to date. ($1.5M – BCG) ‘Sofia’ copper-gold porphyry discovery with ‘Alexandra’ highsulphidation gold zone 4 History • 1960s – Regional mapping and sampling by Cominco and Kennco focused on porphyry potential at Black Lake, Shasta, Pine, Kemess North, Brenda, and Sickle-Sofia. • 1980s – 3 epithermal gold-silver mines developed in the Toodoggone region (Baker, Lawyers, Shasta) – Peralto Resources and Skylark Resources conducted geological and geochemical programs at nearby Kevin, Pil-Lar and Chess epithermal gold prospects. • 1999-2002 – Stealth Minerals staked initial Sickle-Sofia claims based on anomalous 1997 BCGS silt samples. Prospecting identified veins and silicified zones anomalous in gold and silver. • 2003-2004 – Stealth Minerals completed prospecting, mapping, airborne geophysics, soil geochemistry and diamond drilling on Sickle-Sofia and surrounding Toodoggone properties. • – 10,000 rock, core and soil samples – 880 PIMA alteration analysis – 3,323m (24 holes) diamond drilling testing Quartz Lake and Griz-Sickle veins 2005-2006 – Stealth completed 42 line-km of IP and ground magnetic geophysics covering western portion of Sickle-Sofia property. 5 History (2) • September 2006 – Sickle-Sofia property optioned to BCGold Corp. • 2007 – BCGold Corp. focused on the porphyry potential of the Sofia and Alexandra showings – Completed additional 36 line-km of IP and ground magnetic geophysics. 3D inversion of IP chargeability and resistivity defined a 5.5 sq-km anomaly. – Completed 1,514m of diamond drilling (4 holes Sophia / 1 hole Alexandra). – Drill hole BCG07-01 collared near Sophia outcrop intersected porphyry-style mineralization throughout length of drill hole. Two copper-gold zones returned 25m of 0.15% Cu / 0.12 g/t Au; and 47m of 0.13% Cu / 0.08 g/t Au. – Drill hole BCG07-03 intersected high-sulphidation alteration and anomalous gold mineralization. Entire hole returned average 260m of 0.16 g/t Au, including bottom 20m assayed 0.45 g/t Au. – Other 3 drill holes testing the IP chargeability-high intersected widespread pyrite mineralization with narrow zones anomalous in gold +/- copper. Bottom 20m returned 0.43 g/t Au. 15 Sofia Porphyry Discovery • Copper-Gold porphyry targets at lower elevations. • Sofia porphyry outcrop discovered on shore of Toodoggone River. • Outcrop displays pervasive potassic alteration and quartzmagnetite-chalcopyrite veins. • Valley blanketed with glacial till with little outcrop exposure. Bhorizon soil sampling does not respond well. • 5.5 sq-km IP chargeability anomaly defined in valley by IP geophysics. • Drill hole BCG07-01 intersected 2 zones in monzonite porphyry: Sophia discovery outcrop • 0.12g/t Au, 0.15% Cu over 25m • 0.08g/t Au, 0.13% Cu over 47m 16 Sofia Porphyry Discovery Hole (BCG07-01) 120.0m: Chalcopyrite & pyrite with quartzanhydrite-magnetite veining 273.5m: Chalcopyrite & pyrite in quartzanhydrite filled fracture 126.7m: Chalcopyrite & pyrite with pervasive kspar and biotite alteration 292.0m: Chalcopyrite & pyrite with quartz veining 17 Sickle-Sofia IP, Cu-Au Soil Geochemistry and Diamond Drilling • Previous operators focused on epithermal gold veins at Quartz Lake-Griz-Sickle • In 2007, BCGold focused on porphyry exploration. Completed 32 km IP survey and 5 drill holes (1,514 m). • DDH BCG07-01 intersects copper-gold porphyry mineralization at Sophia • DDH BCG07-03 intersects highsulphidation gold mineralization at Alexandra • Drilling, IP geophysics, with soil geochem and mapping at higher elevations indicate the discovery of a preserved, telescoping porphyry-epithermal system • Numerous targets require drill testing! 18 Soil Geochemistry Gold-in-Soil Copper-in-Soil B-Horizon soil geochemistry works well at higher elevations with thin overburden.
