DESIGNED WITH
THE OPERATOR IN MIND
FINGERTIP CONVENIENCE
An uncluttered, easily reached dashboard
contains choke and throttle controls on the
left, headlight and 3-position ignition
switches on theright. Powered attachments
are stopped and started with PTO switch
which requires a deliberate "pull-out, pushup" action to control electrical power to
the electromagnetic clutch on the front of
the engine. This switch must be in its "off'
position to start the engine. Also, a safety
interlock in the scat overrides the PTO
switch if the operator leaves the seat.
LIVE REAR POWER TAKE-OFF
An optional 2000 rpm rearPTO for category
"0" implements such as tiller, flail mowers,
and other tools. Maintains excellent crop
clearance. Universal joint shafts in midmount and rear pillow block ball bearings
are operated by electromagnetic clutch
and switch on dashboard. (1600 & 2400
Series only - Standard on the UT620)
INDIVIDUAL REAR WHEEL BRAKES
Side-by-side pedals control individual rear
wheel brakes. Override spring system
minimizes operator effort. Pushing a single
pedal stops the rear wheel to that side for short
spin turns, turning with a heavy load, or for
pulling out of mud or ice if other wheel has
traction. Pedals can be locked together to
operate as a single brake for smooth, straight
stops. Parking brake arm latches interlocked
brakes automatically when fully depressed. A
toe tap releases pedals.
HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEMS
Available on all tractors, the hydraulic power
lift eliminates all physical effort in raising and
lowering implements. A 3.3 gpm pump with
constant belt adjustment feature has 1000 psi
with engineat 3300 rpm. Handy lever on lower
right of dashboard operates single-spool valve
with four "natura1" positions: Implernentraises
when lever is pulled toward rear while lever
returns to neutral or "hold" position when
released. Forward motion lowers implements
to operating level. Full forward (detent) position
allows implement to "float" or seek its own
best operating level. An optional Auxiliary
Lift System has leveron lower leftof dashboard
for operating rear mounted implements
independently of mid-or-front mounted
attachments.
CATEGORY "0" 3-POINT HITCH
Optional, this attachment provides quickhitching for rear implements and a low
point of connection for safe pulling of
wheeled vehicles. Meets standards for
category "0" as specified by SAE and
ASAE. Variably adjustable top link
controls pitch while knobs on both sides
adjust level ofimplements. Hitch is raised
or lowered by hydraulic lift system and
includes a drawbar. Provides the best
advantages of both 3-point and singlepoint hitches.
PADDED CONTOUR SEAT
A padded, contoured seat fits virtually
anybody and assures maximum operator
comfort. Adjustable fore and aft up to 3".
It's weather-resistant covering sheds rain
and snow and wipes dry in minutes. Safety
interlock switches automatically stop a
running implement and shut down the
engine should the operator dismount.
LARGE FUEL TANK
Standard five gallon (1200 Series) and
eight gallon gas tanks allows you to spend
more time operating the tractor and less
time stopping to refill.

Three high-lift blades with anti-friction bearings

UNI-TATCH SYSTEM
The Uni-tatch System is designed to allow the
operator to easily connect the Uni-tatch front
attachments from the tractor seat and with no
tools. (Available for 1600,2400 and UT620
models)
hitch, mower is operated by PTa switch on
dashboard. Full-width roller at rear provides
choice of seven cutting heights from 1-1/2" to
4-1/2" and minimizes scalping. Low profile
chute disburses clippings and yard debris down
and away from operator.
The "Uni-tatch" mounting unit has a full range
of hydraulically operated vertical motion and
optional horizontal movement. Available in
commercial and residential models.
Designed to remove large amounts of snow
quickly and effectively, the 47" Two-Stage
Snowblower is available in gear or chain
driven models for residential and commercial
use. The snowblower's vertical and horizontal
movement is hydraulically controJIed from
conveniently positioned hand levers.
The 51" Rotary Broom is one on the most
versatile attachments on themarkettoday. The
Rotary Broom can sweep, thatch ,rake orremove
snow. Durably built to withstand years of
commercial and residential use.
Ruggedly built, the 54" Blade can tackle the
toughest jobs. Variable skid shoes and large
coil springs on rear of blade help protect the
blade and operator when a foreign object is
encountered.
60" REAR GRADER BLADE
Valuable tool to finish landscaping, smoothing
and leveling topsoil, gravel and other loose
material. Blade may be angled to 30 degrees
left or right with blade facing front orrear. Has
full adjustment on 3-point hitch.
54" or 48" WIDE BLADE
Push piles of loose material easiIy...backfill,
grade, clear land, remove snow. Has five angle
positions...Ieft, right and straight across. No
jarring knocks ifhidden obstruction is hit... blade
tips against twin heavy springs returns to work.
Spring trip action can be locked out for bulldozing. Reinforced blade has reversible, renewable cutting edge.

EXTRA HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE
Tall crop cultivation has been a Power King
feature since its inception in 1946. 38" OD
tires on 24" rims combine with drop-axle design
to achieve up to 18" under the frame. This is
nearly twice as much ground clearance as that
offered by most ordinary garden tractors.
46" ROTARY TILLER
Rugged tine assembly for both tilling and
cultivating. Medium duty unit mounts on 3point hitch. Activated by PTO switch on
dashboard, tiller is driven through rear PTO
attachment. Eight sets of 14" bolo tines easily
handle rough soil, garden trash or damp clods
of plowed earth, tilling a smooth swath.
Infinitely adjustable down to7" deep depending
on soil conditions. 46" hex shaft has bearing
supports at both ends. Closed end tine cover
protects against flying debris. Not for
commercial applications.
12" MOLDBOARD PLOW
Power King tractors have power enough to
plow clean and deep in heavy soil and plen ty of
speed to tum ground over completely. Heavyduty plow cuts down to 8" deep and 12" wide.
Has extra long moldboard and readily turns
trash under. High mast makes plow altitude
adjustment easier. Gauge wheel for depth
adjustment affords easy plowing in various
soils. Clamped to beam, the rolling coulter
cuts ahead of plowshare to assure clean, deep
furrow in sod. 3-point hitch mounting provides
fine pitch and level adjustments for maximum
plowing and minimum fuel consumption.
TANDEM DISC HARROW
Has sixteen I I" smooth discs in double rows of
twin four gang blades. Front gangs may be set
to throw soil in or out; rear gangs bring it back
for fine breaking and leveling. Disc angulation
is adjustable to approximate working width of
48".
72" HAY RAKE >
Light weight and easy to handle, this rake has
20 heat-treated spring teeth. Independent hand
lift facilitates quick "dumping" of hay. Mounts
on 3-point hitch with quick hitch pins.
NOTCHED DISC HARROW
Ten 16" heat-treated, notched disc blades in
two gangs of five each cut approximately 53"
wide. Discs may be set to throw soil in or out.
Has pennanently scaled hex bore ball bearings
with triple-lip trash guarding seals. Large
frame area supports cement block add-on
weights for increased breaking and digging
power.
