The property expands across an entire 25 hectares of pristine
countryside. There are vineyards, olive groves; fruit orchards
and vegetable gardens, two pools, a spa. Multiple terraces
with table, chairs and loungers in every combination of sun
and shade. The great lawn for great feasts al fresco, playing
badminton or going off for an excursion by helicopter. The
kitchen is a country-style affair, the beating heart of the
house and the first room everyone gravitates to. Choose
Castello di Vicarello for a major celebration and there is a
professonal kitchen on-site as well. The scale can be intimate
or grand, the layout is flexible. Come together, spread out.

way through the famed Brunello vineyards of Montalcino. Or
you can simply stride off across the yard and head down to
the Ombrone River, a walk of one to two hours which will very
nicely fill the space between your fresh breakfast of

house-made iced tea with mint from the garden served on
the veranda of your choice before lunch.

WHAT TO KNOW
• Gorgeous French linen cleaned in house with all natural
products. The property makes its own soap with lavender and
other herbs from the garden. Oil, wine and bath products
can be purchased if supplies available.
• Various styles of massage and yoga instruction available on
request for enjoying on-site. Outdoor hot tub is warmed by
the sun except fall through spring when it can be heated on
request with additional payment.
• This property is particularly well adapted to those with a
keen interest in food, wine and cooking. Please discuss your
interests with us in advance so we can customize your
experience as best as possible.
• Pastries, pasta, jams and other products prepared in-house
by the staff. Lunch and dinner will be served in the venue of
your choice; Courtyard, Upper Terrace, Great Lawn, etc.

• Weddings and special celebrations with full catering for up
to 150 guests are welcome. Professional kitchen for use by
staff only except with express written permission in advance.
• The owner/managers live in private quarters on site unless
arrangements have been made in advance for rentals of at
least a week. Their dog comes into the house when it is not
rented; it does not go on the furniture, but may have been in
the common areas, kitchen, dining room and living room.
Please discuss with us before booking.
• Groups of more than 14 guests require a minimum 10 day
stay unless otherwise agreed. Please inquire.
• Arrivals and departures may be on any day of the week.
Arrival time is 4 pm- 5 pm; departure time is 10 am.

satellite can be provided on request. There is no airconditioning but there are ceiling and standing fans. Please
