WELCOME…
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Carolinas PGA, I would like to
welcome you to “Big Week” our 20th Annual Merchandise Show. This has
proved to be a wonderful opportunity for the 1950 men and women that
make up the largest of the PGA’s 41 Sections. It is important for all of us
to recognize and thank the Salesman Association and Section Staff for the
opportunities that this exposition affords our members.
Much like the first years of the PGA Show in Florida, the inaugural Carolinas
PGA Show in 1994 was held under a tent. The annual CPGA Merchandise
Show has evolved into a viable and productive gathering of our membership
and industry representatives. Our Merchandise Show offers all of us the
ability to discuss first hand with company representatives our individual
facility needs, as well as, discuss and exchange ideas with your fellow
members.
Additionally “Big Week” offers our members the opportunity to attend the
Awards and Honors Dinner where we come together to celebrate those who
have been selected as our best for 2012. On Monday, the Section’s Annual
Meeting is our largest gathering of the year and allows you to become
engaged with the business of the Carolinas PGA Section. This year’s Winter
Education Seminar has been designed with your educational needs in mind
and offers a wonderful slate of speakers this year. The CPGA’s 2013 “Big
Week” culminates with our very popular Pro-Am Tournament which is
being held this year at the beautiful and challenging Tidewater Golf Club.
I look forward to seeing you in the aisles and please join me in thanking
