TOUR COSTS DO NOT INCLUDE
Meals, unless noted on itinerary, entrance fees (most museums included),
passport fees, travel insurance, excess baggage, and any items of personal
nature such as laundry, telephone calls, beverages or other expenses.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
TOUR PRICE: $3600.00 including all taxes
Single occupancy – supplement $895.00 (subject to availability at time
of booking)
Deposit – non-refundable payment of $750.00 is required at time of booking.
Final payments are due 70 days prior to the departure date.
Cancellation/interruption/medical insurance are highly recommend. Please
contact us for a quote.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES
– Deposit non refundable up to 60 days prior
– Between 59 days and 45 days 25% of cost
– Between 44 days and 21 days 50% of cost
– From 20 days prior to departure 100%

TOUR
September 19 – October 2
This fall, join history professor Geoffrey Hayes as we trace the route
of First Canadian Army through the fall of 1944 and the winter of
1945. From our comfortable nine passenger vans, we will explore
Canada’s role in the liberation of France, Belgium, the Netherlands
and Germany. We will also have a chance to enjoy the beautiful
cities of Bruge, Arnhem, Groningen and Amsterdam.

Trace the Maple Leaf Route with Professor
Geoffrey Hayes through the Canadian battlefields
of France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
The Canadians played a central but often
overlooked role in the last 8 months of the
Second World War. They opened the Channel
Ports of France and the approaches to Antwerp,
they fought in the Rhineland, and they helped
liberate the Netherlands. Thousands are buried
in five Canadian cemeteries along our route.
We will enjoy such beautiful sites as Brugge, the
famous Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, and
Amsterdam. We will also visit the Westerbork
Transit Camp.
