Don’t forget to get your punch cards in by October
31st to be included in the punch card sale.
Our punch cards never expire, so don’t worry if you
haven’t filled one up this year. You still have time,
though!
Wrapped in Love by Gruber’s
We will be working with the local police station and
making quilts for emergency foster care. We are
creating this program to keep the police cars supplied
with quilts for when children are taken out of their
homes without any of their belongings. If you’d like
to donate your time to make a quilt or donate an
already made quilt, let us know. Your donation can
bring a great deal of comfort and a feeling of safety
to these children in such tough situations. If you
have any questions, please give us a call.

Retreat Center
Do you need a day or a few days to get some sewing
or crafts done? Wouldn’t it be fun to hang out with
a few friends in our retreat center, right across the
parking lot from Gruber’s and sew the day away? If
this sounds like a relaxing get away for you and your
friends, call and book a time with us right away! We’d
love to have you stay with us! Stay for 3 nights, your
3rd night is half off!

Knit a Dishcloth - Free
2nd Thursday of the month 1 - 3 pm.
We will learn new dishcloth patterns each month.

Little Women - $10
Currently we are using Miniature Gatherings by
Primitive Gatherings, and making a new miniature
quilt every other month.
The 1st Thursday of each month, 6 – 9 pm
Hand Applique - $20
Notions, fabric, patterns will be discussed. This is a
hands on technique class where we will cover several
ways to turn the edges of the shapes and bias stems.
Hand appliques is quite easy when you can find the
right technique for you. We will use Alex Anderson’s
Hand & Machine Appliques book.

Triangles, squares, and more oh my! Come learn all
you need to do to start this fun hobby!

Make your own Barn Quilt - $40
Come and spend the day painting
a block. Paint, brushes, boards are
included. It’ll be a lot of fun! Check

Kids Come and Learn How to Sew! - $10
Come make your own pillow case. We will teach you
the “hotdog” method. Everyone is going to want to
know how you did it! Ages 15 and younger.

Picture Ornament
Start with a basic ornament class starting at
10 am. Cost is $10 and includes a pattern
and kit. Want to make two ornaments? Stay
for the second class and make a picture
ornament for only $5, class begins at 1 pm.

Join Chris Hoover and learn how to create outstanding
backs for your quilt, and finish them!

Northwoods Loon Class - $55
Celebrate Minnesota by paper piecing
a Minnesota loon surrounded by trees.
The pattern has just been released by
On Point Quilter. Kari will guide you to
complete this wall quilt. You will be the
first group to piece the quilt! During this all day
session, you will piece the loon and at least one of each
of the tree blocks. September 24th 9 am – 4 pm

Create this fabulous Judy Niemeyer
variation of a lone star quilt using paper
piecing techniques and precut 2-1/2”
strips. Approximate finished size: 64”x 64”

Create this stunning Judy
Niemeyer quilt. Kristin will show
you how not to be scared of paper
piecing and leave comfortable to
make this quilt.
Tuffet with Kristin Bender - $225
Make your own tuffet! They are all the rage! Each
one is cuter than the next, and you’ll be able to
choose the style of feet for your
tuffet. You will have a completed
tuffet after the second class as long
as you’ve finished the cover before
class. Included with class, pattern,
and finishing kit (upholstery batting, upholstery
foam, 2-1/2” button, cording, plywood round & feet)

Judy Niemeyer Retreat - $225
Why stop at our classes when you can go to a retreat!

Playhouse Teepee - $55
Do you have kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews?
Give them a place to explore new
adventures with their imagination
during their play time. This teepee is
fun to put together and the kids will
love crawling inside. The poles are
included in the class fee.

Simple Maxi Skirt - $20
We loved making this maxi skirt so much
that we wanted to teach you and make
it a class. We will show you how to work
with knit fabrics and elastic. You will leave
with a finished maxi skirt and excited to
make another one for yourself or a friend.

Basic Domestic Machine Quilting - $55
Learn how to complete your quilting projects by
quilting them yourself. Chris Hoover will walk you
through the basics from stitch-in-the-ditch to
free-hand feathers. No experience necessary.

An impressive quilt that looks as
if it’s paper-pieced but is actually
improvisationally pieced. Learn this
simple method to create a quilt
where every block is unique.
