(Velcro & zipper), E-cording, ruler work, stencils, echo quilting, upper laser work, thread
painting, and cross hatching. Each club
meeting will feature a time of show & tell, the
featured topic of the month and a chance to

SEW A ROW QUILT CLUB
Learn both the “Sew a Row” technique and the
“Quilt as You Go” technique by making this exciting quilt. Each row will introduce a new piecing
method including strips, triangles, flying geese,
circles, foundation piecing, set in seams and
Dresden designs. We will be using the book Sew
a Row Quilts by Karin Hellaby. Quilting will be
done throughout the quilt using the “Quilt as you
Go” technique. At the end of 12 rows, your quilt
will only need a binding.

KIDS SEWING CLUB
Two Part class. First class will show you how to
thread sewing machine, wind a bobbin, how different stitches are used and practice sewing techniques. Second half of class will show the student
how to pin and cut fabric, finishing the class with
making a cute tote bag.

Embroider Those Jeans - Learn the Process
Take the fear out of embroidering jeans. If you have ever wanted to embroider on jeans, then this class is for you. Jeannine will take the fear out
of embroidering jeans. Bring your embroidery design loaded onto your
machine, thread, stabilizers, embroidery needles and she will walk you
through the process. You will have enough knowledge to complete it at
home

Take that fear out of embroidering your favorite jacket. If you have ever
wanted to embroider on a jacket, then this class is for you. Jeannine will

and she will walk you through the process.

Stabilizer Solutions
The majority of the problems in machine embroidery stem from stabilizer issues. In this lecture
class I will go over a wide variety of stabilizers, their uses and suggestions for various types of
fabric or projects. You are encouraged to bring your samples (success and
failures) and questions. A variety of samples will be on display to illustrate
the way in which each stabilizer was used to achieve the desired result. You
will take home handouts for future reference. A minimum of three students is
required for this class.

4x4 Embroidery Project
Make an envelope bag with a Velcro closure and embroidery on the front. In this class you will
learn how to stabilize, mark the fabric and place the design (of your choice) on the fabric where
you want it. Then you will sew the bag together to complete it.

Embroidery 101
So you have invested in an Embroidery Machine and you’re not sure what to do. This

of stabilizer; different kinds of embroidery; different types of marking pens; how does
applique work; how to remove stabilizer. Be sure to sign up for this class and take
your embroidery to a new level.
