The overwhelming majority of these patients had acute or chronic tonsillitis with typical plugs in the tonsillar crypts. Nearly half of the patients received an initial dose of the product equal to the dose usually prescribed in acute conditions. A good or very good therapeutic effect was achieved in more than 90 % of the cases. The product was very well tolerated – there were no undesirable side effects. Method of administration The homeopathic active ingredients are absorbed primarily through mucous membranes in the mouth and not from the digestive tract. The tablets therefore should not be swallowed, but allowed to dissolve in the mouth. For infants and small children tablets may also be taken mixed with some liquid.
