WHO IS NARRENGOLD?
Narrengold plays folk music in the tradition of the medieval musicians. The band was
founded in 2009.
WHAT DOES NARRENGOLD OFFER?
Narrengold plays at historical events (e.g., medieval
fairs, renaissance fairs) on specific places (e.g.,
stage) or as wandering musicians. In addition,
Narrengold can support mystical fire shows by
adding instrumental (bagpipe) music. Dependent on
the event, Narrengold can play plugged or
unplugged.
Narrengold performs at wedding ceremonies or
birthday parties as well.
WHAT DOES NARRENGOLD PLAY?
The band performs original compositions and own
interpretations of old traditional folk songs.
Narrengold places emphasis on catchy melodies
with the goal to elicit fun and entertainment in the
audience.
WHICH INSTRUMENTS ARE USED?
Vocals, string instruments (e.g., cister, bouzouki,
mandolin, lute), bagpipes, flutes, shalms, historical
drums, and bells.
HOW DOES IT SOUND?
The first LP „Allerley Weisheit“ had been
released in 2011. The second LP „Mein
Dudelsack is supa“ will be released in 2015.
