The couple has already expanded their antique offerings, added their own line of hand-painted furnishings and begun custom work as well. Steamer trunks, 1940’s dining sets and collectables are on display, but not for long. “We constantly refresh and add new pieces and even we are amazed at some of our surprise treasures, including a mid1800’s urn, similar to one which recently sold at Christie’s Auction House,” said O’Connell. Even the shop was a surprise find – The couple was planning to open a restaurant when they happened across the shop on the market. “It’s brand new for us, but Colin’s grandmother owned an antique shop in Vancouver, so he definitely comes by it naturally. Our son Grayson enjoys it too,” adds O’Connell. Whether you stop by the shop or become one of their loyal Facebook shoppers, it’s easy to see what’s in stock and new items are uploaded daily. There may just be a hidden treasure waiting for you.
