The fish tank is to provide relaxation opportunities for our students, give us something fun and different to do, and take turns working on care skills. We currently have one molly fish, a platy fish, and an African dwarf frog. Our sea creatures are still getting acclimated to being the newest residents of MEC, but soon we will be giving them names and starting our schedule of taking turns with their care. Some of our students have already seen them and are so happy they have come to stay with us! I am sure we will have lots of updates on our aquatic friends in the future. In the next newsletter, be sure to look for the results of our pet naming contest!
