FRENCH TAUGHT BY NATIVES
All of our teachers are native French
speakers who are certified to teach
French as a foreign language.
All sessions are taught in French,
even the beginners’ classes, thus
immersing the students in the French
frame of mind. As such, the learning
of French becomes very accessible
for an international audience.
A COMMUNICATIVE AND
INTERACTIVE APPROACH
At the Alliance Française we use
the latest French learning methods
focussing on interactivity between
the students and teachers.
These materials can be purchased
on our premises during office hours.
EUROPEAN ASSESSMENT
STANDARDS
The use of the Common European
Framework of Reference
for Languages makes it possible
to assess the language level using
an international standard. It defines
the five linguistic skills (listening
skills, reading skills, conversation
skills, productive speaking and
writing skills) on six different levels
(A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2).
During intake the teachers determine
the students’ level of fluency, using
a mandatory placement test, in order
to place the student in the group
which suits him/her best.

Our tailor-made blended learning
formula mixes virtual classes,
with opportunities for individual
practice, and offline lessons at the
Alliance Française.
We do believe that these meeting
times are necessary to build the

discuss certain novels
published in recent years,
which stand out in the
French contemporary
literature. Autofictions,
various biographies,
and new writing styles
