repairs, services, enhances, alters and custom builds guns,
sometimes from scratch.

Since opening in 2005, we have serviced approximately
1000 firearms per year. The shop consists of a work shop
that at any given time can have as many as 100 guns
waiting to be serviced. Turn around time averages 2 - 4
weeks. The front of the store is a retail shop that sells a
variety of firearms and accessories.

Eric H. Behlke, Gunsmith and Owner
Eric Behlke’s firearms experience spans over thirty years. In 1981
Eric continued his pursued interest in firearms into the United
States Marine Corps. and upon graduating first in his class from
the prestigious U.S. Army Ordinance Center and School at
Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, Eric went on to serve at
the largest armory in the Marine Corps at Parris Island, South
Carolina. There Eric honed his skills at complete firearms
assembly and repair as this armory provided the highest level of
repair service offered in the Marine Corps. He was later invited to
join the RTE Shop in Quantico to train and become one of the
Marine Corp’s elite gunsmiths. While training in Quantico Eric
attended instruction at the FBI Academy where he was certified
by the National Rifle Association as a Police and Security Firearms
Instructor and then went on to become a Close Combat Pistol
Course Instructor for the Marine Corps. Eric served at the RTE
Shop building sniper rifles and other high performance firearms
until the end of his enlistment.
After many years of civilian gunsmithing and other business
ventures the Behlke's decided in 2005 to relocate to Spokane and
open their own store. A family man, and father of three sons, Eric
loves serving the community of Spokane and plans on being a
fixture here for many years to come.
