Overview
This is Jamie’s first car and it is the envy of many of his peers, and rightly so. Packed
with the latest and greatest from Alpine and Hertz, this car backs up it’s smooth look with
an awesome custom designed and built, sound and multimedia system install.
Up front a touch screen Alpine TME-M710 6.5” Monitor, couple together with an Alpine
CDA-9886R Head unit supply the tunes to the custom door pods which feature Hertz HiEnergy 3 Way components and a pair of Hertz Hi-Energy drivers, along with this is the
spectacular boot build which features an Audio Control EQS Equalizer, Hertz EP4 &
Hertz EP1D Amp, 2 Audison Power Caps and the centre piece, a monster Hertz 15” HXS
380D Sub, which packs a the haymaker punches in what is an incredible sounding
system.
The attention to detail is essential in this build, with great care being taken to design and
build the custom facia panel to house both Alpine units upfront, while the plexi-glass
housing for the crossover, hidden in the door cards is a great touch. With the entire install
being trimmed in the finest alcantara and Cobra Rock Fabric to match the Cobra Daytona
bucket seats, the finish is almost factory looking and it takes a clever eye to notice the
subtleness of it all.
