Sgt.-At-Arms:
1976 MGB roadster for sale. Everything works nicely on
this car. Has new interior, top, tires. All critical items
work; such as emergency brake, four way flashers, turn
signals, back-up lights, horns. This car has 56,000 original
miles and excellent oil pressure at idle and at road speed. I
do not drive it much, but it has road nicks and flaws just
the same. The PO had it painted before I bought it from
him in 2005. It has, a worn tonneau and boot, and a good
car cover. Call for a ride and more information. I bought a
TR6, and so the "B" has to go. Call Matt Jadud

1961 Bug-eye title, four rims, convertible top bows, a title, one tachometer, a 1098 engine
and four speed transmission (smooth case) (shifting tower missing) some knock off spinners,
and maybe an additional item or two. Engine believed to be good. $700 Call Matt Jadud

A Look Back by Brad Babcock
March 2011 has come like a Lion and left like a lamb, albeit and angry lamb. I think we all officially have spring fever after the tune‐up session at Wilfong’s the first weekend in April. Most of us either have our British vehicles up and running or are working to get them ready for the season. Looking back 20 years to the April 1991 Pieces and Brits Newsletter, things were in a similar state. Acting President Gary Springer was preparing it hand the reigns back to George Wakeman, who was returning from Ft. Gordon, Ga. The LoCo Brits Spring Rallye was rescheduled for May 11, and a calendar of events was published. Other up‐
coming events for May 1991 included: 


ENMGR Lucas Night Rallye North East Ohio Austin Healy Club was putting on the British car show / swap meet (Richfield?) ENMGR was planning a Spring Warm‐up, presumable for survivors of the Lucas Night Rallye 
South West Michigan Motoring Association was hosting the Mad Dogs and Englishmen event. Listed for sale was a “1977 MGB with wire wheels, damask red paint and 43,000miles. Looks great, priced at $3,900, negotiable. Also listed for sale was a 1974 TR6 with 52,000 miles, new paint and seats. No rust, ever. $6,000 or offer. Looking back 10 years to the May 2001 Pieces and Bits Newsletter, Mark Amato opened with his Gearbox Banter column. He was having a rough spring with his MGB. He and Missy enjoyed The Ides of March Rallye, but did not finish. They got thoroughly lost, but had a nice drive. He lamented missing the Wilfong's Spring Lift event, but did take his young son on a Friday night run to the Dinner Bell. Finding no LoCos at the Dinner Bell, they took a side trip to Grandma’s. Three houses from the destination, said son puked in the car. 34 members attended the April Meeting, and there was talk of putting a website together. Steve Morris introduced the club to the concept of an electronic mailing list, and explained the ground rules. The meeting place was moving to the Dinner Bell on Lake Ave. on Friday nights.
