Few design solutions manage to combine flexibility, style and
functionality successfully, three very important requirements in modern
educational furniture design. Vista+ by British Thornton is the exception,
offering a highly desirable range of modular screens, soft seats and
touchdown benches. This extensive range is easy to configure and is
ideal for creating both temporary and semi permanent informal work
areas with the option to integrate your power and data supply for IT use.
The Vista+ range is offered in a wide selection of colour and material
options to suit your scheme and budget. If you require help planning

The Vista+ range features high quality, high gloss, solid acrylic panels;
which are available in seven bold contemporary colours. The body of
the units are white or light grey as standard.
Each Vista+ touchdown bench is completely freestanding. Not only
does this make it considerably easier to design, specify and order large
configurations; it also allows the units to be configured and reconfigured with ease and without the need for tools. The units rest on
easy glide feet allowing them to be moved with relative ease given their
size.

The flexibility of Vista+ range allows for power units to be added where required with ease. The power
units simply replace the cable outlet ports in the desk tops, meaning they can also be retro-fitted or
removed easily should changes be necessary.
The power units are available in two configurations as standard. VTP01 features 1x UK power outlet, 1x
cat5e data outlet and 1x USB socket, VTP02 features 2x Fast Charge USB outlets and 2x cat5e data
sockets. Other configurations are available upon request including HDMI, Stereo, cat6e and international
sockets.
Cable management is prevalent on the Vista+ range. Each end panel features an additional cable port as
well as a large access panel. This panel allows easy access into the void within each bench making
cable management and routing of cables from one bench to another and to the power/data source,
extremely simple.

As well as touchdown benching, the Vista+ range also features a collection of straight and curved
mobile screens at 1060mm high, to match the tallest bench height, and 1500mm high; to create
work areas with more privacy. The screens again feature the same high gloss acrylic panels as the
touchdown benches, which can also be used as a dry wipe marker surface. There are four lockable
castors on each screen, mounted to a solid steel out-rigger foot for extra stability.
To co-ordinate with both the benches and screens the range also includes a range of three soft
seats. The shapes of these seats matches the radius and sizes of both the benches and screens
perfectly allowing for seamless integration and endless configuration possibilities.

High level touchdown to both sides. Ideally suited to
informal IT use, dining and breakout areas. With the
same units an ‘S’ shaped configuration can be
achieved by rotating two of the end units.

configuration creates a large touchdown IT or dining
bench. Ideally suited to large open plan areas with a
requirement for semi-flexible IT use.

High level touchdown to one side with low level seating
to the other. This ‘S’ shaped configuration creates a
semi-private seating area with touchdown IT or dining
on the other side with the reverse being created at the
other end. Perfect for LRC’s and similar areas where a
mixture of IT and small group tasks take place.

configuration can be used as IT touchdown with
laptops or desktop computers, providing a
contemporary alternative to IT desking. As with all of
the configurations, excluding those with integral
seating, the units can be specified as low level also.

High level touchdown to both sides. An ‘S’ shaped
configuration that utilises both straight and curved
benches. Again this is perfectly suited to IT use as well
as dining and breakout.
2x VTB11
High level touchdown to one side, low integral seating
to the other side. Ideally suited to breakout areas with
a requirement for some flexible IT touchdown.
