Brian Edwards graduated with a Divinity degree from the University of London and taught
in two secondary schools whilst working as assistant to Derek Prime at Lansdowne
Evangelical Church in West Norwood, South East London. After this Brian took up the
pastorate of Hook Evangelical Church, where he remained for twenty-nine years and
where he is still a member.
In 1995 Brian accepted the three year appointment to be President of the Fellowship of
Independent Evangelical Churches, and for two years he and his wife Barbara travelled
the United Kingdom visiting many of the 500 churches in affiliation with FIEC.
Barbara passed away in 1998 after a protracted illness. Brian has 2 grown up sons, and
recently married Rosie on 10th December 2011. They live in England. Brian has written
over 20 books.
