“For us, the North is a major growth area. We have been working hard to
bolster our excellent hotel portfolio across the region – with prime sites
in towns and cities across the north of England, Wales, Northern Ireland
and Scotland, from Manchester’s vibrant new MediaCity development, to
the traditional seaside town of Scarborough and Edinburgh’s Old Town.
As well as looking to expand our traditional Premier Inn format, we
are seeking sites for hub by Premier Inn – our compact concept hotel
launched late last year in Covent Garden, London. We have already
secured 3 hub by Premier Inn sites in Edinburgh – introducing an
innovative new offer for our customers and an exciting proposition for
our property partners.
With over 1,600 new bedrooms added to our development pipeline
across 18 new sites last year alone, our expansion is in full swing.
We have a full list of requirements and our experienced acquisition team
is always searching for the next excellent opportunity in the North.

developer-led, conversion or new-builds. We give quick firm

success is the strength of our hotel network,
the power of the Premier Inn brand, our
dynamic pricing system, and the quality
and consistency of the Premier Inn guest
experience, backed up by our Good Night’s
Sleep Guarantee. To reinforce this success
we are continually investing in our product
and refurbishing and maintaining the
Premier Inn estate.
As well as seeking brand new sites, we
are actively looking for trading hotels
in excellent locations across the UK for
refurbishment or redevelopment – like
our recently opened 120-bedroom former
Holiday Inn Express hotel at Chapel Bar,
Nottingham – refurbished as a brand new
Premier Inn.
