You will notice the folks in the Myrtle Beach area all display the
same South Carolina hospitality when you visit the many shops,
restaurants, theatres, and parks.
The newly constructed Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade
in the downtown area traverses the sandy beach for nearly
two kilometres and is a pleasure to stroll, as well as offers an
endless view of the Atlantic’s crystal blue water. In Myrtle Beach there is a golf course “fore” everyone, with 100 meticulously
maintained courses to choose from. For a change of pace, try your hand at one of the many fun mini-putt courses!
Visitors to Myrtle Beach may also want to visit the city of Charleston, known for its rich history and well-preserved architecture,
just a two hour drive south of Myrtle Beach.

journey begins on Day #1 with a morning
departure and end during the afternoon
on Day #2 upon arrival at your destination.
After your vacation, your northbound journey
will depart in the afternoon and end the
following evening in southern Ontario.

Daytona Beach is known as “The World’s Most Famous Beach” for
good reason. It has enticed famous explorers like Ponce de Leon as
well as those looking to test the limits of speed.
While many of Daytona Beach’s annual visitors flock to the beach
to relax under the rays, there’s more to the area than just sand and
sun. Daytona Beach’s museums and art galleries offer travellers an
opportunity to step back in time. Attractions including Ponce Inlet, the
Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens, Old Stone Wharf, The Basements and
the Museum of Art & Sciences pay tribute to the region’s plantation and
racing roots.
A visit to Daytona Beach isn’t complete without a trip to the Daytona
International Speedway for one of the track’s many events held
throughout the year. Visitors looking “fore” a change of pace will enjoy a
round of golf on one of the area’s fabulous fairways, many designed by
the sport’s biggest legends.
Transportation is an important component
to the winter longstay vacations we offer. All
of our motorcoaches are 2013 Canadianmade Prevost vehicles. They are equipped
with sophisticated safety features, and offer
greater fuel economy than ever before.
Although designed to carry 56 passengers,
we have re-configured the seats to
accommodate 43 guests, allowing everyone
greater legroom and comfort.
Now with complimentary Wifi and electrical
outlets at each seat, travelling with a tablet
has become the norm. Guests can keep in
touch with family at home, follow a map,
research the route, and recharge their
device while on the go. Individual headsets
allow you to watch an on-board movie, listen
to a variety of music choices offered, or sit in
silence if you prefer.
The trip passes quickly as you enjoy the view
of the changing climate and geography from
the big unobstructed windows. Seats are
assigned and are yours for the full trip. Once
on board, you can arrange your nest with
your water, book, electronic devices, and no
one will be asking you to move.

St. Pete Beach is known around the world for pristine beaches. At Fort
Desoto Park, you can fish from two free piers 24 hours a day, splash
in calm waters and even rent bikes and kayaks. Perhaps you’d rather
shop along historic Corey Avenue or sample waterfront dining at any of
the city’s superb restaurants. These are just a few of the things you can
do while staying in St. Pete Beach.
Destin is truly the jewel of Florida’s Emerald
Coast. It may be known as “the world’s luckiest
fishing village,” but anglers aren’t the only
ones who feel lucky to be there.
You will notice the low level of stress – as
there is no need to consult a map, no need
to concern yourself with the next meal stop,
as the drivers guide the group through the
border crossing, restaurants, and comfort
breaks.
Watching the sun set from a sugar-white
beach, or cruising out to where the dolphins
play are also magical experiences. With
fishing and tourism as the main industries,
it is not surprising that there are many great
restaurants to choose from. Destin as a winter
retreat is the first choice for many snowbirds
who are looking for a quieter lifestyle and the
chance to spend the winter away from the
harsh northern climate.

When you’ve had your fill of sand and sun, a day trip to nearby Tampa
provides you with an opportunity to take in a baseball or hockey game,
top-notch orchestra music and world class art exhibits.

The attractions in Myrtle Beach area are abundant.
Visitors to the area enjoy live entertainment in
beautiful spacious theatres, golfing, water sports
and fishing, and one-of-a-kind experiences such as
Ripley’s Aquarium. DeNureTours provides daytrips
to visit quaint historic communities or river cruises
that help you learn more about this area rich in
wildlife and scenery. Myrtle Beach is well known
for its great number of restaurants, and we provide
transportation to a wide variety of establishments.
DeNureTours hosts many activities in their spacious and welcoming hospitality
room, the place to go when looking for a scrabble or card partner, a book to
read, or just a visit with fellow guests over a cup of tea or coffee.
Area beaches
Beaches are protected as much as humanly possible, from the strong
erosion along the Atlantic seaboard. Area beaches are wider than ever, the
result of a two-year re-nourishment project completed in 1998. Almost five
million cubic yards of new sand was moved from the ocean bottom onto the
shore. In addition to creating expansive beaches, dunes were re-established
to safeguard these new areas. Sand fencing and plantings of sea oats and
sea grasses stabilize the sandy soil underneath, to provide a natural seawall
against a storm surge.

Accommodation choices at the Ocean Reef include oceanfront kitchen
equipped rooms as well as one, two or three bedroom condominiums. The
resort features a warm outdoor pool, an indoor pool and lazy river, and a
fitness facility. The hotel breakfast restaurant, the Café du Port is an attractive
place to enjoy a full hot breakfast with a view of the beach.
The complimentary shuttle bus is available to
all guests, for many local excursions, shopping,
and dinner outings. Use the posted schedule of
activities to plan your week in advance. The shuttle
bus drivers are friendly and helpful, offering local
information and their personal knowledge of this
area they call home. Charges may apply on some
daytrips and special events.

What is a Nautilus?
The curious looking nautilus, a smooth, coiled sea creature
found in the deep tropical waters of the Pacific and Indian
oceans, has been in existence for over 500 million years. There are many
chambers within the shell which provide shelter for its soft-bodied occupant.
The beauty of the sea creature, and the speed with which it can travel, has
long been awe-inspiring for those who have witnessed it.

All hotel rooms are kitchen equipped, with plenty of storage in closets and
drawers. Rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished, each with a large
private balcony. When making your reservation, choose your room facing
the southern sun, or overlooking the beach to the north or east. Enjoy a
complimentary breakfast each morning, and come together at the end of
the day for the Manager’s cocktail hour.

The Nautilus Inn, owned by DeNureTours, is located ocean-side in
Daytona Beach. An eastern exposure over the Atlantic Ocean provides
warm rosy sunrises. You will find the grounds beautifully landscaped with
towering palms and colourful plants and an attractive glass barricade that
provides shelter from the ocean breezes. The heated pool and hot tub are
surrounded by comfortable chaise lounges. The hotel décor and furnishings
are continually upgraded to maintain a clean, modern impression. The hotel
and its grounds are designated 100% smoke-free.

whether it’s a pool and beach day, or a shopping
and sightseeing day. Stock up on snacks and
lunch items at the grocery store, or choose a
daytrip further afield. When available, consider a
trip to historic St. Augustine or a local sightseeing
jaunt. Return to the hotel for happy hour – where
occasionally you’ll find musical entertainment,
and always lots of fun. Choices for dinner outings
include specialty seafood restaurants, roadhouse
fare, buffets or fine dining.

When spending your vacation in St. Pete Beach,
the activity choices are unlimited. At the resort,
begin your day with a visit to our hospitality room
for a cup of coffee and an update on the day’s
scheduled activities.

Our activity director will help you choose activities,
restaurants and outings that suit your taste and
your level of activity. Enjoy the quiet adult-only pool
on a sunny day, or head to the beach for a walk.
Board our shuttle bus and visit the grocery store
to stock up on groceries, or venture further out
to an outlet mall or special shopping experience.
With metropolitan St. Petersburg, Tampa, and
Clearwater just a few miles away, there are many
places to explore during your stay. Visit museums,
galleries, and specialty restaurants.
The Guy Harvey Outpost is one of the well-known TradeWinds properties,
a group of resorts offering a wide variety of dining and activities. Special
discounts at partner resorts are extended to DeNure guests.
Suites have been reserved for DeNure guests, with separate living areas
and bedrooms, joined by a kitchen facility. Choose a room with a view of
the ocean, or one with a balcony overlooking the pool. Suites feature Guy
Harvey artwork and are decorated in the vibrant rich colours of the south.
Who is Dr. Guy Harvey?
You may wish to take part in some of the evening
activities at the resort with fellow guests – such
as bingo, bridge and Scrabble. When available,
we will arrange for you to see a hockey game in
Tampa or ball game with the Blue Jays in Dunedin.
Occasionally we’ll arrange a picnic, a visit to
historic communities like Tarpon Springs, or an
afternoon at the dog races.
For recommendations and activity suggestions, the
DeNureTours activity director is always available.
When emergencies arise there is always someone
to help with alternate travel arrangements and
adjustments.

Widely recognized as the world’s finest marine wildlife artist, Dr. Guy Harvey
combines his unique artistic talents with his background as a marine biologist, diver, photographer, and angler, to create marine wildlife art with an
unmatched authenticity and visual appeal. Self-taught, Guy’s artistic roots
can be traced back to his childhood time in Jamaica.
Throughout the hotel you will find Dr. Harvey’s influence, including a 35,000
gallon aquarium in the hotel restaurant, displaying fish indigenous to Tampa
Bay, including snook, grouper, tarpon, southern stingray, and moray eel.

the Gulf of Mexico. The grounds surrounding the resort provide choices for
