REGISTRATION
A paid registration is necessary to secure a seat for
any trip. Trips may fill quickly, so register early.
Please confirm that the Y has your current address,
phone number and e-mail contact information. Detailed
information for each registered trip will be mailed out in the
form of a Confirmation Letter 7-10 days prior to the trip date.

FAQ
ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What is the minimum age for the bus trips?
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to register.
For some trips, participants under the age of 18 may be
registered and accompanied by a paid adult participant who
is 21 years of age or older and legally responsible for them.
Please contact the Adult Department for all inquiries for
participants under the age of 18.
After I register, will I get more detailed information
about the upcoming trip?
Seven to ten days before your trip, you will receive a
confirmation letter that will include specific trip-related
information and any itinerary updates. If you’ve registered
for a trip, but have not received a letter within 2 days
before any scheduled trip, please call the Adult Department
at 920.954.7610. It’s possible that your information in the
database is inaccurate. The Y requires emergency contact
information from each participant, so this will be mailed to
you along with that final confirmation letter.
What should I do if a trip I want to go on is full?
If a trip is full, you may have your name added to a wait list
at no charge. If a seat becomes available, persons on the
wait list may be contacted and offered that newly available
seat. Payment is due upon acceptance of the opening.
Could a trip be cancelled due to bad weather?
Have you heard that there is no such thing as bad weather?
There might be rain-snow-sleet in the forecast or a
variety of different weather conditions, but weather is
simply weather. And our trips go in all weather conditions.
What bus companies does the Y use?
The Y charters transportation locally from Lamers Bus Lines
and Kobussen Busses. Other Commercial providers may be
used for overnight trips.

workshops, speakers, cooking demos and activities. Through its
“CHICAGO IS” theme, this show will spotlight all that is Chicagoincluding its culture, art, design, neighborhoods and communitywhile it refreshes visitors with the sights, sounds and perfumes of
spring! Enjoy 20+ feature gardens with blooming perennials, water

This day will include a guided tour of two very different Indian
Reservations. The tour begins with the Menominee Cultural Center/
Logging Museum, Big Smoky Falls, & Spirit Rock. Then you’ll step
over in time and visit an Amish home for a family style lunch. This
traditional meal, known as “The Wedding Dinner” is made from
scratch by Amish ladies. You’ll learn a bit about the Amish people
and get the chance to see one of their grocery stores. Next
continue on to the Oneida Indian village and Log Home Restoration
area where you’ll learn about their history and migration to Wisconsin
during the early 1800s. This day will be fascinating in several
respects as you’ll get a glimpse into two different lifestyles and rich
cultures.

Join us on this fun filled day starting out with a visit to the ever
famous and legendary Lambeau Field in Green Bay. You’ll enjoy a
guided tour of the stadium, atrium, and walk through the players
tunnel, even get a chance to walk out on the field. Next you’ll
experience a traditional “tailgate inspired” catered lunch inside the
stadium. This day includes entrance to the new 15,000 square foot,
two-level Packers Hall of Fame. The facility uses latest technology
and displays to educate and inspire you about the rich history of
the team, as well as teams of today. It includes trophies from the
Packers 13 world championships, including four Lombardi trophies
and a replica of Vince Lombardi’s office. Next head over to the
Titletown Brewing Co.’s state-of-the-art brewery for a tour of its
operation and sampling of award-winning beer (or root beer). This
stop is nestled in Green Bay’s historic Broadway District and time
will be permitted for shopping at the Cannery Public Market and Deli
located next to the brewery. Your day will be packed with spirit and
impassioned energy that makes Titletown so endearing.

We’ll stop at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe for a 30 minute
guided tour of the Magnificent Church. The church seats 450 people
and is constructed in the cruciform design with windows celebrating
Our Blessed Mother. Next stop is the dock of the Mississippi Queen,
a modern-day replica of the grand riverboats which was used on
the water in the early 1900’s. After boarding, you’ll experience
3-hours on the scenic upper Mississippi that includes informative

remaining swing bridges still in operation. Early in the cruise, enjoy

Are you craving an art filled weekend brimming with the delicious
summer fruit? Well then this festival is just for you! We’ll spend the
day exploring the 31st Annual Strawberry Festival in the quaint
village of Cedarburg. You can start your day with an all you can eat
Strawberry Pancake Breakfast (Dutch treat) while listening to live
music outside along Cedar Creek. Other highlights include more than
250 of the best local and Midwest artists who bring their skills and
arts, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, fine glass and woodwork
and more to the streets of Cedarburg. Other highlights include live
bands, a Model T Ford Club exhibit, rubber duck launch, and festival
food favorites such as strawberry crepes, shortcake, pie, and of
course chocolate covered strawberries and more. Before heading
home we’ll make a quick stop at one of the last remaining covered
bridges in the state. Built in 1876 to cross Cedar Creek, the bridge
is 120 feet long and now used only for pedestrian traffic. This day is
sure to please and have something for everyone! Then just board the
coach for a relaxing and restful ride back to the Fox Cities - and let

a spot on this annual adventure. Space is limited! We’re heading
to Lake Michigan for some salmon, steelhead and whatever-else-isbiting-that-day fishing. Take a fishing adventure on professionally
equipped charter boats with experienced captain and crew, licensed
by the U.S. Coast Guard out of the port of Algoma. Did you know
Algoma is the #1 port for trophy salmon and steelhead catches
according to DNR records? All fishing equipment is provided and all
catch is cleaned and packed in your cooler. Please bring a cooler
partially filled with ice (for your fish), weather- appropriate clothing,
rain gear, personal lunch/snacks and refreshments, soft-soled shoes,
sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and a valid Wisconsin Fishing License with
Great Lakes trout and salmon stamp. If this is a one-time fishing
occasion for you, purchase the two-day license that includes the
special stamp. We’ll stop for a reasonably-priced Dutch treat supper
before returning home. We’ll dine at Moe’s Corner for family style

It’s the Y’s ever popular trip and annual excursion to Milwaukee
to root for our home team. Head to Miller Park for a game
between the Brewers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. It’s a classic
summertime activity, so let’s go out to the ballgame! Lunch is on
your own, so you can choose ballpark food or bring a brown bag to
enjoy before entering the stadium. Enjoy time at “Selig Experience,”
it’s a 1,400-square-foot year-round attraction anchored by a 3D
video presentation depicting Selig’s start in the game and tenure
as Brewers owner. Then it’s “Play Ball”, so take in the game along
with the sights, sounds and smells of the stadium. NEW this year,
our group seats in the Loge Infield Boxes are situated in a great
area behind the infield and occupy the back portion of the 200 level
seats at Miller Park. The parking area and stadium are large spaces
and there are some steps to negotiate getting to your seat. Please

When it comes to classic country, there’s no greater name than
Johnny Cash. His deep voice grabbed us and hasn’t let go. The
talented Clauson family has planned a new show featuring both vocal
and instrumental arrangements of the music that made Cash a
legendary superstar. You are sure to hear his most famous country
hits and his beloved gospel music. If you’ve seen and heard Cody
Clauson perform, you can imagine just how much fun he’ll have
paying this tribute. You’ll enjoy a delicious buffet style dinner
served as part of your afternoon. It features three meat entrees, a
variety of sides, fresh vegetable and potato choices, dinner rolls and
a fabulous dessert. This high-energy and engaging family presents
a memorable tribute show in the historic Barn Theatre that will have
you tapping your toes and applauding for more.

Hazelwood Historic Home which was built by an early champion of
the lock system and an entrepreneur who lost his fortune because
of it. Next you’ll board a 1953 riverboat and cruise for two hours

Begin with a visit to Glacial Lake Cranberries, one of the oldest
cranberry marshes in central Wisconsin. This is harvest time, and
the most colorful time to take pleasure in a tour and appreciate the
natural beauty of the cranberry wetlands. During a guided tour you
will witness a cranberry harvest and connect with North America’s
Native Red Fruit by visiting the CranberryLink© Visitor Center to
view videos, cranberry memorabilia, and collectibles. This stop also
offers fresh cranberries and cranberry-related items for sale. Lunch
is on your own, something quick but nice in Marshfield. Our next
stop documents the efforts of an amateur paleontologist that
excavated and recreated as best as possible the now extinct
creatures (many are dinosaurs but not limited to dogs, frogs and
spiders) that inhabited the large McMillan Marsh near Marshfield
during the Iron Age. The flesh and bones of all the marsh creatures
are made of ferrous metal, but occasionally stainless, high carbon
and more exotic alloys. You will see small, medium and large
sculptures that will truly blow your mind. The Hobbit House located
on the property will also be open, inside you’ll see a demonstration
of fiber arts and also fabulous hand-crafted glass works. Our next
stop will be at Dairy State Cheese which offers hundreds of kinds
of cheese for sale and an outstanding selection of scoop ice cream.
There is also an observation window and a video focusing on
Wisconsin’s rich dairy heritage and cheese making. Return to
the Fox Cities thinking of all the great things you saw and learned!

And the tradition continues! You’ll take an express coach headed
for a full day in downtown Chicago where you’ll be on your own for
holiday shopping, dining and/or visiting city attractions. Chicago’s
Magnificent Mile is one of America’s great shopping streets and it’s
at its best during the holiday season. A million white lights decorate
the trees and countless people decorate the sidewalks! The shops
are as diverse as the goods they sell, with towering shopping
centers, iconic department stores and trendy favorites all within
an easy stroll. This great Chicago shopping experience will spark
every interest, meet every need and delight every visitor. The holiday
time brings more visitors to the area so planning ahead and making
reservations are recommended. There are 4 drop-off locations in the
city on arrival. At the end of the day, all travelers meet back at the
original drop-off point for the return to the Fox Cities.

Enjoy this step back in time with a visit to a restored Stick-Style
Victorian home built in 1873. You’ll get a tour of the historic Timm
House; which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The home will be beautifully decorated for the season. Next stop will
be at a spectacular market event located in Elkhart Lake. Reminiscent
of the centuries-old Christkindlesmarkt of Nüremberg, Germany, the
19th annual Old World Christmas Market offers the warmth and
merriment of Old World tradition. With over 200 vendors, you will
stroll the aisles of a grand heated tent lined with fresh evergreens
and the tantalizing scents of roasted almonds and bratwurst as you
browse for unique items among international and regional artisans.
Czech blown-glass ornaments, Russian nesting dolls, German
hand-carved smokers and nutcrackers, fine apparel, handmade
amber and silver jewelry, fur products and much more! A delicious
catered lunch is provided and will be served inside the grand Osthoff
Resort. After lunch head back outside for more shopping and an
old-fashioned hayride. Our final stop will be at the Wreath Factory
at Otter Creek. It is an award winning Garden Center, blooming with
unique plants, gifts and holiday décor; it delights in every season.
Here you’ll watch a wreath making demonstration and even get a
chance to win it as a prize! Time will be permitted to browse and
shop the store. This day will truly get you in the holiday spirit.
