Suggested Itinerary – 7 days/6 nights in Tahiti ** Sightseeing, excursions and entertainment described are not included. Day 1: Los Angeles to Tahiti This afternoon, depart Los Angeles on a nonstop, Air Tahiti Nui flight, which will arrive in Papeete, Tahiti later this evening. The flight time is approximately 8 hours and the time zone is just three hours behind the west coast. Enjoy complimentary dinning, drinks and movies onboard your Air Tahiti Nui flight. Tahitian Greeting upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation -­‐ 6 Nights: Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort, Manava Suite Resort Tahiti, Le Meridien Tahiti or InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa Day 2: Tahiti – Discover Papeete Take a locally arranged tour, or hotel shuttle, to discover the city of Papeete – Take a walking tour of Old Papeete, visit “Le Marche”, the galleries and colorful shops along the waterfront, Town Hall and The Cathedral, the Pearl Museum and shop for souvenirs and exquisite Tahitian black pearls. This evening, perhaps attend an exciting Tahitian dance show with dinner. Day 3: Tahiti – Island Road Trip Take a half day circle island tour. Visit the most popular points of interest including One Tree Hill observation point, Point Venus, Arahoho Blowhole, and Fautaua Waterfall. This evening dinner at “Les Roulottes”. Every evening at Place Vai’ete, on Papeete’s waterfront many different “Roulottes”, or food wagons, offer great variety of island cuisine and desserts. The boardwalk atmosphere is an informal and lively setting not to be missed. Day 4: Tahiti – Day Trip to Moorea This morning, transfer to the wharf in Papeete for a 25 minute trip on a high speed ferry to Tahiti’s sister island of Moorea. Upon arrival at Moorea’s ferry wharf, arrange to be met by a local tour operator for a Moorea lagoon and motu picnic excursion. On this very special tour, you will discover the wonders of Moorea’s Lagoon -­‐ snorkeling, feeding the stingrays and sharks and a BBQ picnic on small private islet. Late this afternoon, return to Tahiti by high speed ferry. Day 5: Tahiti – At Leisure Choose from the many activities and excursions that Tahiti offers. A 4WD Adventure to the island’s rugged interior, go on a guided hike, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, golf, horseback riding or try sailing or kayaking in the lagoon or even surfing. Visit Cook’s landing place, Point Venus and the James Norman Hall museum. Day 6: Tahiti – Last day! Your last full day in Tahiti is free to pamper yourself with locally-­‐inspired treatments at the spa, or relax at the beach or pool. Make that last minute shopping, buy those special world famous Tahitian Black pearl’s or enjoy a dinner at the exquisite Coco’s Restaurant, where you can enjoy the sunset or O a la Bouche restaurant in town. Day 07: Depart Tahiti -­‐ Arrive Los Angeles Your Air Tahiti Nui flight departs from Papeete this morning, arriving early in the evening on the same day in Los Angeles.
