The area (ca. 1,400,000 sqm) is one of the largest Real Estate development in Europe, with ca. 1,000,000 sqm of mixed use private surfaces. Population density expected on the developed area will be ca. 15,000 of new inhabitants. The Hospital and Centre of Medical Research is the result of the merger between 2 healthcare excellences in North Italy: the “Carlo Besta” Neurological Institute and the Cancer National Institute. The Centre will be a new 4-storey building (including 2 additional basement levels) of ca. 120,000 sqm in the middle of a natural park, very close to underground and railway station, covering an area of more than 200,000 sqm. The Centre will be a cutting edge hospital for knowledge and technologies applied to medicine, and a landmark for research and formation in all medical fields. The Hospital and Centre of Medical Research will generate a tremendous social impact: 700 beds 3,000 workers 4,000 daily visitors 16 MULTIFUNCTIONAL SHOPPING CENTER One of the largest shopping centre in Italy of about 110,000 sqm of retail Gross Leasable Area (GLA) integrated within a mixed Today use concept comprising residential, offices and hotels exceeding 150,000 sqm of Gross Buildable Area (GBA). Inside parking lots able to accommodate ca. 5,000 visitor cars. Excellent location and easy access from Milan and North surroundings due to a dedicated ring road exit. Landmark building: shopping centre to be accommodate inside Ex-Falck most famous archeological building (“T5”) with a unique “live inside / outside” concept leveraging on the green areas and park surrounding the area. Tomorrow 17 SPORT COMPLEX The project provides large spaces suitable for hosting medium to large sport structures, while offering connections, infrastructures and services. One of the most important Italian soccer team is considering building his flagship stadium.
