Sponsor a Brick in the Bosun`s Walk
Sponsor a Brick in the Bosun’s Walk... ...and help us realise the dream Artists impression of the Bosun’s Walk The Bosun’s Walk The Bosun’s Walk will be created for our children to enjoy in Summer 2009, and has a finite number of pavers available for your sponsorship. You can select from the following choices: The Big Bosun’s Paver with 4 lines, of up to 15 characters per line, engraved in BLACK or GOLD The Bosun’s Paver with 2 lines, of up to 15 characters per line, engraved in BLACK or GOLD The Captains Stone 3 lines, of up to 15 characters per line, engraved in GOLD below the Coombe Trust banner Artists impression of the Memorial Garden The Memorial Garden The Memorial Garden is a quiet garden area, in which you can place a memorial to a loved one. The unique pavers have 2 lines of text for your message, and a special symbol. Originating from North American Indian tribes, adopted by the scouting movement, and engraved on the headstone of Lord Baden-Powell, the symbol is known as “Gone Home”, and we feel is very appropriate to the garden. The ‘Gone Home’ Paver “For over 50 years we have tried to improve the lives of children and their carers or families with the provision of seaside holidays at our Westgate on Sea holiday homes. We aim to encourage social interaction between our guests by building a communal playground and walkways between our six holiday homes. Please help us realise our dream and improve the lives of those less fortunate, by sponsoring a brick in the Bosun’s Walk” David Coombe Chief Executive Bosun’s Walk A little background on Luke and Matt Goss... Matt continues within the music industry and is currently recording his new album. Matt said... “It’s not about me or the background, it’s about the brick, getting behind it and supporting such a good cause. I’m grateful for the chance to show my support and for the sake of these children and hope it encourages others to help”. Luke said... “I am truly honoured to be a part of this wonderful project also, I’d like to say a personal thank you in regards to the prayer (GONE HOME BRICK) for my sister.
