Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016
ACTION !
• Troops to review week(s) of camp attendance to increase attendance
• Consider allowing boys to attend different weeks and we can fit them
in with other troops, they will learn, meet and make new friends
• Plan for older boys to consider attending 2 weeks of camp for more
exciting opportunities, challenges and learning
• Encourage attendance at mini camps, we need 10 boys registered to take place
• Begin to plan/schedule physicals for camp
We want increased attendance so we can continue to have 4 weeks in the future!

Did You Know
“Two adults are not required per car when traveling to
meetings and campouts. That is, as long as the “no one-onone contact” policy is followed.
So if parents or leaders are driving youth to or from a scout
function they need to make sure they are not in a one-on-one
situation, unless that youth is their own child.”
-James S. Wilson National Youth protection Committee Chairman
