Aletsch Arena – nature as far as the eye can see. The Aletsch Glacier in the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Swiss
Alps is the biggest and longest glacier in the Alps. Its ice and rock masses stretch over 23km and cover a surface area of 85km2 from the
north flanks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Aletsch Arena in Valais. The ice sheet is up to 900m thick. Experience the glacier in
all its magnitude and fascination from the lookout points of Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn.

Brigerbad thermal baths A veritable oasis of wellbeing
Brigerbad thermal baths reopened in December 2014 and now
offers an oasis of wellbeing for body and soul throughout the
year. The complex contains seven unique bathing experiences
- including heated outdoor pools with a giant slide and indoor
pools with a two-floor spa area offering a hammam and sauna
as well as various wellness treatments. The water covers 2'600
square metres, half of which is available throughout the year.
A particular highlight is the famous grotto swimming pool
embedded in the rock with its underwater jets and water of up
to 42 degrees. For those who like to test their limits, there is also
the adjacent cold-water Grotto. Visitors to Brigerbad can find
refuge in a unique oasis of wellbeing.
World Nature Forum
Restaurant Cécile is on the first floor and accessible to passers-by without having to enter the bathing area. Bathing guests
enter the restaurant via the terrace. Enjoy a cosy get-together
and “dolce far niente” atmosphere on our sun-kissed terrace
with room for 60 people, or in our open-plan inner area with
space for 220 persons. Besides a small menu offering different
dishes daily, guests particularly value the abundance of choice,
offering something for every taste.
Brigerbad is just a few minutes from Brig and Visp by car, rail or
post bus.
