Course
Out of bounds (Rule 27-1)
•Defined by fence posts, concrete posts (hole 2), walls, white stakes and white painted lines.
•When an out of bounds fence is above a wall, the posts mark the OB and the wall is an
integral part of the course.
Internal Out of bounds:
Only when playing the hole:
•Hole 2 & 13 on the right.
•Hole 9 on the left.
•Hole 10 on both sides.
In any situation:
•Hole 12 & 17 – Left side.

Movable Obstructions: (Rule 24-1)
•Stones in bunkers.

Ground under repair: (Rule 25-1)
•Any circular areas around the base of palm trees or any other plant.
•Any channel created by water.

It is forbidden to play:
In any cacti and trees (not weeds) shorter than a club, dropping is mandatory under rule 25-1.
Dropping Zones:
•Holes 2, 3, 4, 10, 12, 11, 13 & 14
•Hole 13; if a player’s ball lies in the water hazard on the 13th hole, the player must play
another ball from the tee (Rule 26-1a.) or play a ball from the dropping zone area.

Immoveable Obstructions: (Rule 24-2)
•All paved roads including adjacent cement gutters.
•The drain boxes, valve boxes and sprinklers.
•The plastic borders surrounding the greens (only for the ball’s lie and not for the stand)
•The wooden stakes around the hole 13 green.
Integral part of the course:
•All walls on the course. This section includes the upper wall of the channel on the 14th hole.
•Net on the left side of hole #2.
•Desert areas.
If a ball lies on the edge of the fairway in a desert area, the ball can be dropped without
penalty at the nearest point of relief, always in the desert area.
