Welcome to the 34th Kansas City Wide Open!
The Kansas City Flying Disc Club, welcomes you to Kansas City to play in
this classic disc golf event. The KCFDC members, volunteers, partners,
and sponsors make Kansas City one of the best places in the country to
play disc golf and our extra effort this weekend will ensure you have a
great experience.
The club is very thankful for the efforts of Tournament Directors Jack
Lowe, Dick Parker, and Scott Reek who are showcasing 3 of our areas
courses in the tournament. They are assisted by countless volunteers,
without whom, the Kansas City Wide Open would not be possible. Make
sure and take the time to thank volunteers at the courses and events.
Of course, most importantly we would like to thank you, the players who
have made the trip to experience the Kansas City Wide Open and our love
of Disc Golf. We hope the event reflects the passion that we have for our
city, our sport and our fellow players. We sincerely hope you enjoy all we
have planned for you this weekend. Throw ‘em straight, and best of luck!
