The on-screen display provides you with the relevant information
when you push a button on the control box - for instance if you

way you always know which function you are activating and which
parameters you are using
5.
To turn the on-screen display on or off, select 'On-screen display
mode' and select ‘on’ or ‘off’
Note! The level of magnification and the focus height depend on the
lens you are using. These figures are calculated on the basis of the
camera zoom level, the type of lens you are using and the size of
the monitor. TAGARNO AIR automatically detects the monitor size,
but you must always note which lens you are using in the set-up
menu to view the correct level of magnification (MAG.)

select '50 HZ' or '60 HZ'

The benefits of the shutter function can be emphasized by combining it with Iris adjustment. When using a small Iris, increase the
exposure time to achieve an optimal image.

8. Care and maintenance
Store and use TAGARNO AIR in a dry, clean and ventilated room.
Do not place TAGARNO AIR in direct sunlight, next to a radiator/heater
or somewhere where the apparatus may be subjected to liquids.
All plugs are designed to be used in one way only. Therefore you should
never use force when you connect the apparatus.
Remember to disconnect all elements if you intend to move TAGARNO
AIR.
If you move TAGARNO AIR from a cold to a hot room, you must wait at
least an hour before you turn it on in order to avoid short circuits due to
condensation.
Remove the cables by pulling the plug itself – never by pulling the cable.
If TAGARNO AIR needs repair, never do it yourself. Contact your distributor.

9. Cleaning recommendations
It is important to clean your TAGARNO AIR regularly to avoid a build-up
of dust and air-borne contaminants.
Non-optical areas of the instrument
Use a soft cotton cloth dipped in a soap solution to remove dirt and
grease from the non-optical areas of the instrument. A standard soap
solution consists of 200 ml of water and 5-7 drops of dishwasher
detergent.
To remove microorganisms from the surface, wet a soft cotton cloth
with a disinfectant solution and gently wipe the non-optical areas of
the instrument. TAGARNO AIR is compatible with a daily wipe-off with
a disinfectant solution consisting of 96 % ethanol or other solutions
containing alcohol, e.g. IPA products (Isopropyl Alcohol).
Optical components of the instrument: the lenses
Avoid cleaning the lens more than necessary as this involves the risk of
scratching the lens and leaving cleaning streaks. Only clean it when it is
visibly dirty. Also be careful not to touch the lens or to subject it to sharp
and hard objects.
Use an air brush to blow away dust or dirt particles from the lens surface. Gently, and with
minimal pressure, wipe the lens with a lens paper.
If you need to use any liquid to remove crud on the lens, use distilled
water or alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol, 90 % pure). Put a drop or two of the
liquid on your lens paper and hold it against the lens for a few seconds
to dissolve the crud. Then gently wipe it free. Never apply the liquid
directly to the lens.
After using solvents, clean the lens again with standard distilled water to
ensure that you have removed all the solvents from the lens.
