Once lived in by Jack London’s mistress, this private upstairs
dining room features its own entrance, bathrooms and bar
setup. Perfect for corporate events and private dining parties. Can accommodate 52 seated guests and 90 standing for
cocktails.
MAIN DINING ROOM
Step into the mid-1800’s when this dining room was built
and experience the aenergy and ambiance that makes this
space unique. Explore a wide ranges of Italian flavors and
relax with some of the best locally-sourced wines. Seats 32.
BAR ROOM
Our full bar faces the famous Grist Mill waterwheell and
showcases our very own brewing tanks. Its rustic decor and
historic appeal offers a glimpse into the famous California
Gold Rush era. Seated 28.
PATIO AREA

farm-to-table modern Italian dishes brought together by our
Executive Chef, Adolfo Veronese, Sr.
Chef Adolfo is of Sicilian and Padovan descent. He grew
up in San Francisco and spent the majority of his summers
in Italy. His father, Adolfo Veronese Sr., was a Master Chef
and Restaurateur. His mother, Angela Alioto, is a lawyer and
former President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Chef Adolfo is the grandson of former San Francisco
Mayor Joseph L. Alioto. However, his claim to fame lies in
his talent for understanding both traditional and modern elements of cuisine and how they relate to a healthy and nutritious diet.
THE MENU
Chef Adolfo began his culinary pursuit as a child in his father’s San Francisco restaurant, Osteria Romana. He chose to
pursue formal training and attended the Culinary Institute of
America, New York. Since then, Chef has has worked for renowned restaurants including San Dominico NY, Drago,
Evvia, Piero Selvaggio’s Valentino, Wolfgang Puck’ Fine Dinning, and TAO’s Lavo Restaurant and Nightclub in Las Vegas
We offer a wide variety of top local wines from our friends
at area wineries, exquisite Italian wines that pair nicely with
our cuisine, and select international wines. Aventine also
brews its own beers on-premises, and boasts a full bar selection. Aventine boasts its own beer made on premise as well
as a full bar selection.

Non-Refundable Deposit
To reserve the venue, an initial non-refundable deposit of
50% of the estimated total cost of the event, paid by personal check, cashier’s check or valid credit card, will be required six months prior to the date of the event.
Menu Selection
Our special events coordinator will be pleased to assist you
with menu selections and answer any questions regarding
pricing. Menu selections & headcount are to be submitted
THIRTY DAYS prior to the date of the event.
Food & Beverage
All food and beverage must be purchased through the
venue unless prior arrangements have been made. Food
and liquor cannot be brought in from outside sources
without prior written consent. Removing alcohol from the
premises is prohibited.
Audio Visual Requests
Aventine can provide you with a highly trained audio/visual staff using the latest technical equipment. Rates and information are available under separate cover. Please review
your request with the events coordinator.
Decorations
Specialty linens, floral arrangements, ice sculptures, chair
covers, soft furniture, etc. can be provided by the special
events coordinator at an additional charge with advance
notice. Should you prefer to make these arrangements
yourself, please provide the events coordinator with a
vendor list and contact information.
