I AM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE
BEEN IN THE COSMETIC
INDUSTRY MY ENTIRE LIFE.
Biotherm Education beckoned soon after, and I can say I
have been training ever since, entering my 35th year this
year. I love what I do, and am proud to say I am the only
L’Oreal trainer to win a COSA award (Canada’s
Outstanding Service Award). I am proud to teach not just
product knowledge, but also excellent customer service.
Like many of you, I began to work part time
paying my way through high school and
college. I started work at Shoppers
Drug Mart as a cashier, and was
recruited to Cosmetics by a
most inspiring woman. I spent
8 ½ years with SDM, moving
up to managing my own
department; from where I
was recruited by L’Oreal
to join the Luxury division
as a coordinator for
Department stores.
I was born and raised in Vancouver, and
today make my home Tsawwassen, BC.
I keep fit by practicing Pilates, and I
follow the guidance of a most
amazing Naturopath, who calls
me the poster child for her
practice.
If I can inspire you to bring

SKIN CARE HAS ALWAYS
BEEN MY PASSION.
I’ve been working in this field for almost 20 years, and
I’m still in love with all these wonderful products and
the great innovations which surround us.
When I was able to find solutions for my skin concerns
I knew then that I wanted to help others by sharing
that knowledge with everyone. When I see someone
with visible skin problems, I sometimes can’t help
myself… I just have to say hello and find out how I
can help that person, but that’s me. Wow, I can’t
believe it’s been 27 years that I have been in the
cosmetic industry… But what a pleasure it has been.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends
and laughing. I like to be inspired by new healthy
recipes and I enjoy quick exercises than I can do at

My husband and my son mean the world to me.
However, being a wife, mother and balancing a
career does have its challenges. To keep up with the
demands of my day I like starting with a healthy
breakfast – like oats with banana. When things get
really busy, I add an energy shot with Coconut Water
& Spirulina.
Besides that, I have a few addictions such as
photography, spending time with my friend’s teckel
(a dog is truly man’s best friend), travelling and
drinking David’s Tea.
It’s always a pleasure to have you in class.
To be honest, it’s hard finding some “me time” every
day. So when I can, I power walk. I enjoy a spa treat
anytime it’s offered to me or I just indulge in a glass of
wine and some reality TV.
So now you know a little bit more about me, but more
importantly I want to know that you will leave my
seminar feeling enlightened and empowered from
the experience. It will definitely be fun!

Healthy winter soup
Ingredients:
A large leek, 6 carrots, 1 turnip, 1 celery stalk, 2 potatoes,
2 tomatoes, 1 zucchini, 1 small onion, water, olive oil, salt
and pepper.
Recipe:
Peel, wash and chop the vegetables into small pieces. Heat
the olive oil in a heavy pot. Add the chopped leeks and let
cook until soft. Once they are done, cover with water and
let cook for another 20 minutes, then set aside for later.
Meanwhile, in another pot, add the rest of the vegetables
and cover with water. Let them cook for about 30 minutes,
or until tender. Once the vegetables are done cooking,
purée them in a blender or with a soup mixer until smooth.
Stir in the leeks and then season with salt and pepper
to taste.
