Monorail Type Mass Rapid Transit System in the metropolitan area of Arequipa The project comprises the design, construction, equipment, financing, operation and maintenance of 14-km monorail type mass rapid transit system in the metropolitan area of Arequipa. The project would be developed on an elevated infrastructure located on existing state-owned public roads,connecting Alfredo Rodriguez Ballón International Airport with major districts of the city. Each project comprises the concession of the design, financing, construction, equipment, operation and maintenance of the Metro Line. Photo: Libre Modality: Self-sustaining. 8 9 Energy Safety Improvement in the Country and Development of the Southern Peruvian Gas Pipeline Concession for the design, financing, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer of a natural gas transportation system. The project comprises two sections: •Gasoduct and Poliduct from the Malvinas Separation Plant to the Point of Connection (PC) and from this point to the Chiquintirca Compressor station. •Gasoduct that runs from the PC, crosses Cusco and Arequipa and arrives to the south coast of Peru. It includes the following works: - Section 1: Gasoduct from the PC to a location in the province of Cusco. - Section 2: Continuation of the gasoduct until Ilo and Mollendo. Modality: Self-sustaining. LNG Supply System for the Domestic Market Concession for the design, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of a supply system that includes: • A storage tank with 130,000 m3 capacity to reserve liquid natural gas along or within the “Melchorita” liquefaction plant (170 Km south of Lima). • Regasification and shipping equipment to supply fuel to natural gas users of Lima and Callao in emergency situations for up to 7 days. Hydrocarbons Modality: Self-sustaining. The execution of projects to enlarge the natural gas distribution network are oriented to the decentralization of power generation and the development of an “Energy Node” and a “Petrochemical Hub” in the South of Peru LPG Supply System for Lima and Callao Concession for the design, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of an LPG transport system from the producer’s location (city of Pisco, south of Lima) to the district of Lurín. The transport capacity would be 2800 MT/day as of the Commercial Operation Date, and 3500 MT/day as of Year 5. The transport system would include the following: •Pipeline of approx. 250 km long. •Storage and shipping terminals. •Pumping station, valves, pigtraps and measurement and communications equipment. Modality: Self-sustaining. 10 Photo: Peru LNG 11 “General San Martin” Port Terminal The project involves the design, construction, financing, maintenance, equipment and exploitation of the Port Terminal “General San Martin”, a port alternate to the port of Callao, located in the Department of Ica (250 km south of Lima). Modality: Self-sustaining. Mineral Concentrate Shipping Terminal at the Salaverry Port Design, construction, financing, preservation and exploitation of a new public infrastructure, located adjacent to Pier 1 of the Salaverry Port Terminal in the north of the country. The project aims to enhance the efficiency and capacity of the port to reduce the freight costs for mining exporters. The belt conveyor and shipper capacity will increase to a rate of approximately 1,500 TPH and piers are ready to assist bulk cargo ships in an average of 25,000 DWT in its first stage, and 50,000 DWT in a second stage. Amazon Waterway The project involves the development of dredging and signaling in the Huallaga, Marañón, Ucayali and Amazon Rivers to ensure their navigability and thereby traffic between the Yurimaguas, Pucallpa and Iquitos port terminals. Modality: Self-sustaining. Headwork and Conduction works to Supply Drinking Water to Lima The project comprises the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the following infrastructure: •Expansion of the Pomacocha and Huallacocha Bajo dams (approx. 100 MCM). •Pomacocha - Rio Blanco transfer works (approx. 10 km of trans-Andean tunnel). •Water Treatment Plant (5 m3/s) and •South Section conduction lines (approx. 25.6 Km) from Huachipa to the district of Villa Maria del Triunfo, with 3 4.2 km, 4.5 km and 2.5 km tunnels, and 6 24,000 cubic-meter compensation reservoirs. It will have an approximate distance of 4,000 m to cover a level difference of 965 m approximately between the town of Tingo Nuevo and Kuélap Fortress. Modality: Co-financed. Cable railway Impressing archaeological monuments and a great biodiversity have made of Peru a world-class tourist destination that offers a variety of opportunities for the development of new tourist products and sights Choquequirao Cable Cars The project involves the construction of a cable car system as means of access from the Town of Kiuñalla, Department of Apurimac to the Choquequirao Archaeological Park, in the department of Cusco, as well as the construction of the departure station in Kiuñalla (Apurimac), intermediate station in the El Pajonal (Cusco) and arrival station on the north side of Choquequirao (Cusco). Photo: Libre 16 17 Management of the “National Institute of Child Health” The project involves the provision of the following services in a pediatric hospital: (i) Maintenance of buildings, facilities and electromechanic equipment (ii) Maintenance of clinical and nonclinical equipment, (iii) General Service Operation (food, laundry, cleaning, safety and hospital waste management) and (iv) operation of diagnosis support services (blood bank, clinical and anatomic pathology and sterilization unit). Comprehensive Waste Management of Hospitals in Lima Metropolitana and Callao The project includes the construction, operation and maintenance of a hospital waste treatment plant, in order to comprehensively manage waste (bio-contaminated hazardous / special hazardous / common waste) generated in hospitals and institutes of the Ministry of Health in Lima and Callao. Umbilical Cord Blood Bank and National Registry of Bone - Marrow Donors Health The project involves the design, construction, equipment, implementation and management of a facility providing intermediate services such as an Umbilical Cord Blood Bank, National Registry of Bone Marrow Donors, Histocompatibility and Transplantation Laboratory. Aiming at improving the quality of our health care services, we called for private investors to improve the efficiency of service management in medical centers Modality: Co-financed. Implementation and Management of the Service of Medical Emergencies in Lima and Callao Its purpose is to implement a comprehensive service of mobile emergencies that provides pre-hospitality attention and, if required, transport the patient to a hospital. The service includes: (i) dispatch center that allows the comprehensive management of emergencies; (ii) specialized software, and (iii) programmed sanitary transportation. The aim is to integrate this space with the rest of the city and the existing shopping complex, while optimizing its use in order to turn it into a new focus of development for the city of Lima. Costanera Urban Complex and Marcavalle Urban Complex Real estate The economy drive generates a larger demand in the real estate sector, mainly for the building of houses, offices and shopping centers, as well as for the remodeling and adaptation of existing areas The project proposes to optimize the use of lands where the Prisons Centers are currently located “Maranguita” (Lima) and “Marcavalle” (Cusco) through the development of mixed housing complexes and of commercial use. Auction of Non-agricultural Land of the Chavimochic Stage III Project It includes the sale of more than 2 thousand hectares of non-agricultural land in La Libertad region. The project anticipates the future urban growth needs of the area of influence of the Chavimochic Project (waterworks) and will allow the implementation of new development poles. Photo: ProInversión 20 21 Chinchero - Cusco International Airport(AICC) Concession for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the new International Airport of Chinchero - Cusco (AICC). The project that will be located in the Sacred Valley of Cusco will interconnect paths to different tourist corridors and will have an architecture design in harmony with the landscape of the area. Its infrastructure will include a Passenger Terminal with IATA B Service Level (40,000 m2), in order to meet a demand of 4.5 million passengers at the start of operations. The participation of private investors on the main airport terminals has contributed to significantly improve the infrastructure and service quality offered to the increasing number of visitors arriving to Peru Photo: ADP 22 23 The Michiquillay Remnants Mining Project Mining concession on a total area of 14,927.5 ha (2 blocks on the remnants of the Michiquillay project), aimed at granting the right to conduct geological exploration studies needed to determine the potential of metallic and nonmetallic resources of the deposit. This deposit has reserves of limestone in three geological formations, estimated at 4,283 million MT and this figure could be increased significantly with further studies. The quality of the limestone is good, reaching over 97% CaCO3; with low impurity content mainly SiO2, Al2O3. Fe2O3, MgO, and others. Huayday Ambara Prospect Deposit with an area of 2,992 ha, where significant coal resources have been identified, and is located in a mining district where in turn there are significant metal production mining operations such as: Alto Chicama, Sayapullo, Igor, Cascajal and others. Huayday Ambara offers good exploration potential for gold and other metallic substances. The process is intended to grant a private investor the rights to 8 mining concessions to perform necessary geological studies, with the option of transferring them to execute investment in its operation. Comprehensive Agricultural, Water and Mining Project in Piura Mining Peru remains a highly attractive market for mining investors, due to its high level of reserves, the abundance of its resources and its great metallic production capacity The Comprehensive Project consists in the development of private investment solutions to address issues related to illegal mining in the Region of Piura. The investor will be offered an area of available land in the Region of Piura for the construction of a smelting plant to process minerals from informal mining, provision of storage areas and collection of mining tailings as well as a buffer zone for operations. Industrial Mining Cluster in Sechura Project designed based on the potential development of mining and energy projects located in the north of Peru. The scope of the project is expected to include the development of a Mining-Industrial Cluster to promote private investment opportunities and allow the development of infrastructure and value-added industries. There is a plan to process concentrates to produce refined copper and by-products such as molybdenum, gold and silver. Photo: MINEM 24 25 Auction of 38,500 hectares in Pampas de Siguas (Arequipa) within the framework of the private investment promotion process of the Majes-Siguas Project It includes the auction and private investment promotion of 38,500 hectares in the Pampas de Siguas (Arequipa), based on the water to be generated with the development of Majes-Siguas II Stage Hydraulic Works. Purchasers will undertake an investment commitment to ensure agricultural development and will sign acquisition and service delivery contracts to supply irrigation water. Agricultural land auction Auction of 27,000 hectares within the framework of the private investment promotion process of the Chavimochic Project It includes the sale, by public auction, of approximately 27 thousand hectares intended for agricultural use and located in the area of influence of the Chavimochic Project (La Libertad). Penitentiary Infrastructure and Urban Renewal “Tinkuy Plaza Project” The project proposes the construction of a commercial center, housing, warehouses and parking lots in the land of the current San Jorge Prison (Lima Metropolitana). It also includes the construction and equipment of a new prison for the transfer of inmates of San Jorge Prison into a state owned property. Modality: Self-sustaining private initiative. It also will provide new telephony services to inmates in order to improve public communications, it will generate employment in prisons under the modality of Call Centers; and will improve the efficiency of administration processes and visits automation. Electronic Shackles The project proposes to provide an electronic surveillance service to relief congestion of prisons through the use of electronic shackles for inmates that might have access to personal electronic surveillance.
