This year’s event sees a very wide spectrum of
entries from many regions around the globe such
as the America, Norway, Uganda and Ireland
to name just some of the participating nations
coming together with entries from throughout
the UK in what is going to be four days of
exciting competition. Cardiff has firmly become a
favourite with participants, supporters and family
members talking so highly of the warm welcome
they receive when they visit our fair shores,
proven by the fact that we will be welcoming
back teams from nations that attended the Welsh
International Super Cup in 2014. The Super Cup
Series which Team Tours Direct successfully
operate in countries around the world will
continue to grow in 2016, not only will we have
the English International Super Cup, but also the
Welsh International Super Cup will be celebrating
the 33th Anniversary of Wales operating an
international event of this stature, in addition the
Dubai International Super Cup continues to grow
and be recognised as the Middle East’s number
one international youth event which attracts
entries from around the world all within just
three years of operating. On top of this exciting
list of events, for 2015 we can now announce the
Turkish International Super Cup which will be
welcoming international entries for the first time
in this year.
With regards to the 20145 event, we are
grateful to the many organisations from the
regional Police Authorities, to the medical
staff and of course the Llanrumney Youth
Centre Football Club for their support in
assisting us to bring this event to Cardiff.
We could not run this event without two
groups of people who in their own fields are
so very talented, the first of these groups are
the dedicated match officials who travel from
throughout the UK to be with us, with many
of them having been officiating at Team
Tours Direct events for many years, some
who travel the world with us officiating at our
events and are now looked upon as one big
family together with the staff of Team Tours
Direct. The second group I must mention are
the remarkably skilled Grounds Staff at the
Llanrumney, Cardiff University playing fields
talented team who work tirelessly to get the
playing fields to the standards we can enjoy
throughout the tournament.
All that is left for me to say is Good Luck
and enjoy yourselves to each and every one
of you participating and supporting at the
event. Thank you for your continued support,
for all those visitors enjoy the tournament.

Over the years Team Tours
Direct staff have had the
enormous pleasure of working
with so many of these talented
officials, to which we know
them as friends as well as
work colleagues. For some
of the officials at this week’s
tournament it will be their
fifth or six event with us and
for some it will be part of a
global trip officiating for us at
our other events, for example
Dubai, England and now of
course Wales. Although it is
wonderful to meet up with
the many match officials who
have attended in the past
it is also equally as special
when we our introduced to the
new team joining us for the
first time in 2015, these new
officials can be assured they
will be welcomed by the rest
of the team and confident that
they are joining a very special
group of friends, colleagues
which make up the 2015
Welsh International Super Cup
match officials team. It is very
important to remember that
these talented individuals play
a major part of the tournament
and without them we would
have no games, the greatest
respect should always be
given to your match officials
no matter what decision they
make, for we all know there
will be times when the decision
does not go our way. The 2015
match officials will be headed
by; Mr Stuart Liston who will
be the referees co-ordinator at
the 2015 tournament. Teams
and supporters will see the
match officials mingle with
the supporters, watch the
fixtures and enjoy the overall
atmosphere of the tournament
in the manner of friendship and
good spirits to the many people
in attendance.
Team Tours Direct salute the approach which the match officials take and we are sure that everyone else in
attendance will also take to the referees as friends in the true spirit of game. As always it is a great
privilege for the staff of Team Tours Direct to meet up with our friends who make up the match officials
and work as one big team ready to deliver The Welsh International Super Cup for you.
