MOBILE GENERATION
Mobile Generation (MG) systems transform any Class 2-8 truck
into a mobile generator.
• Uses the truck’s engine, to deliver up to 200kW of electric power.
• Same output at 20% of the weight and half the cost.
• Electric equipment: compressors, welders, jack hammers and bucket
truck arms
• Emergency backup power and can be plugged right into the smart
grid.
• On board telematics (diagnostics) and integrated dashboard control
• Works with any type of engine or fuel type (natural gas, diesel, gas,
fuel cell, etc.).
• Upgrade existing work trucks or sold as a custom Ultimate Power
Truck. Does not affect truck warranties.
• The secret: HPEV’s patent-pending gearing system and thermal

• Unique challenges: regular power outages may hinder business operations. Off-grid power
generation allows key entities to function throughout a power outage.
• Many developing countries show impressive growth rates and economic prosperity. With
increased prosperity comes increased expectations for uninterrupted delivery of commodities
like electricity and water.
Utility Fleets
• Usually Class 2-6 trucks that either tow a genset to the jobsite or have one mounted in the truck
• 120kW and above is the target power output. We can go to 200kW with 400kW on horizon
• Temporary power during an outage and/or uninterrupted service to customers while performing
routine maintenance or grid repair
