Our Banquet Sales Manger will work closely with you to create a customized menu, offer assistance in your wine and beverage selections, and can even help coordinate fresh flower arrangements, live or recorded entertainment, and audio/visual equipment. Our unique and varied spaces, coupled with Trader Vic’s highly personalized service creates the perfect setting for your special event. However, we do realize that sometimes you may want to unwind and enjoy the spirit of the islands in your own home or office. All food and beverage charges are subject to an 18% service charge, and a 2% set up fee for the administrative and production costs incurred by the event. These charges will be included in the taxable sub-total. Menu Selection, Guaranteed Guest Count and Payment Menu selections must be completed ten days prior to the function date. We require that you provide us with a guaranteed minimum number of guests no fewer than seven working days prior to the event. We will be prepared to serve an additional 10% over the guarantee number. You will be billed for your actual guest count or the guaranteed minimum; whichever is greater. Lunch and dinner buffet service is available only for groups of forty or more guests. Deposit To reserve the space and date that you have chosen we require a deposit in the amount of $500 within 24 hours of receiving your contract ($1000 for the month of December.) The deposit will be credited to your balance, which is to be paid at the conclusion of the function. Refunds of Deposits We are able to refund your deposit for cancellations made no fewer than 21 days prior to the event. Please note that during December the cancellation period is 10 days. Bar & Alcohol Services Beverage Services Cocktails are prepared in the restaurant’s bar. However, a private bar is available for a charge of $80.00 per bartender. For beverage and Mai Tai Boat packages, the bartender fee is waived. We charge corkage of $20 per 750 ml. bottle of wine that you supply. We have several beverage options for you to choose from, and beverage selections may be tailored to meet your needs. All of our beverage options are inclusive of glassware and all related beverage equipment. Beverage Packages Prices for all packages reflect a 3 hour bar service time frame, for an additional hour add $7 per person. If you wish to add a specific brand of distilled spirits, wine or bottled beer to you selected pack, we are happy to add the item, if it is available from our distributor. Additions start at $2 per person dependent upon selection requested. Hosted Bar Offering a hosted bar at your event adds an extra special touch to the occasion. Trader Vic’s will coordinate with you to determine limits or maximums to ensure that you stay within your specified budget for a hosted bar. No-Host Option For some events, a non-hosted or cash bar is more appropriate and guests will pay for each of their drinks individually. Price for signature cocktails, premium wines and beers is determined upon selections made.
