On The Cover...
Is it a Jack Russell, Mixed Breed, untrimmed Wire Fox? This
year’s cover features the cutest non-descript Terrier. Scruffy
and ready for a trim, it represented the many adorable pets seen
by pet care professionals daily. We can’t think of any reason
for choosing this photo for our cover except it’s so darn CUTE!
Congratulations to Master Photographer, Tammy McAllister
for having shot this year’s Classic Cover.

Oops! I Made A Mistake and How to Fix It
by Grace Woodford and Paul Bryant
(Sat., 4:30pm )
Have you ever had the dog move just when you were about to remove that last bit of hair?
Have you ever thought your clipper had a 5 blade attached — only to learn too late it was
a 7 blade? In this entertaining seminar, Grace and Paul will share how to correct those
embrassing mishaps that seem to plague every busy groomer and stylist. You’ll love their
innovative solutions to what can seem like disaster.

Styling Cairn, Norwich & Norfolk Terriers ...a comparison
by Grace Woodford (Sun., 10:00am):
Would you like to learn the difference between styling the Cairn, Norwich and Norfolk
Terriers. Is there a difference in body patterns? What about the expression and head
types? If you clipper the coats, will they be damaged? How often should they be
trimmed to maintain a handstripped coat? Grace will share tips and secrets that she has
learned after years of working with Terrier coats and top handlers throughout the United
States. If you want to learn how to properly pet and show trim these breeds, then don’t
miss this exceptional opportunity to learn from Terrier expert, Grace Woodford.
Styling Cockers by Jodi Murphy

14

However, they can be every pet groomer and stylist’s worst nightmare if not properly
groomed, styled and maintained. Let Jodi show you how to put an easy maintenance,
cute, yet stylized trim on this breed. Learn how to capture that irresistble “cockery”
expression. Jodi will demonstrate techniques that will help you achieve a beautiful and
natural pet trim.
Styling the Lakeland, Airedale & Wire Fox Terriers ...a comparison
by Scott Wasserman (Sun., 1:00pm): Understanding and visualizing the
breed standards for the Lakeland, Airedale and Wire Fox Terriers and their similarities and differences is the focus of this comparative presentation. Scott will
demonstrate the styling equipment, techniques and method used for their body
pattern. He will then show you the subtle differences in their facial expressions
and how to trim their heads. If you’re not certain what the differences are
between the body patterens and head styles for these breeds, then take a front row
seat for this outstanding presentation performed by acclaimed terrier expert —
Mr. Terrier himself, Scott Wasserman!
