CHICKS IN THE HEN HOUSE!
Etta May has been described as “Minnie
Pearl with a migraine.” Winner of the prestigious
American Comedy Awards Stand-up Comic of the
Year, she has appeared on Oprah, CMT, Comic Strip
Live plus many others. Etta May is an audience
favorite of XM and Sirius radio comedy channels
and on syndicated radio shows, The Bob and Tom
Show and The Rick and Bubba Show. Etta May is
a regular on CMT countdown shows and featured
programming.
Sonya White: originally from Virginia, combines her Southern charm with big
city smarts. She has national television credits such as Fox Network’s “Nightshift”,
Family Channel’s “Big Brother Jake”, and has done colorful national promos for that
“Dancing With the Stars” alumni Jerry Springer, and his infamous show, “The Jerry
Springer Show”. She is also known for her dead-on impersonations and sound
effects.
Karen Mills: This native Tennessean makes one thing clear through her
clean and clever comedy: “I am Not a Southern Belle, unless I need to be.” She is a
veteran comedian who has worked with Jon Stewart and was a contributing writer
for the “Rosie O’Donnell Show.” Thanks to good books, good therapy and Oprah,
this one time country girl has enlightened into a forward thinking woman of the
world.
Trish Suhr: She began her standup career in Los Angeles after
leaving the family funeral business in Kentucky. She is a co-host on
the Style Network’s popular show, “Clean House,” and regular performer on the
longest running comedy show, “Pretty Funny Women.” Don’t let her cheerleader
looks fool you - Trish is tough and will knock your socks off!
Leanne Morgan: With her June Cleaver looks and plantation accent,
Leanne’s reflections on family life in the South have gained her a huge following
throughout the country. She most recently appeared as a finalist on Nickelodeon’s
“Funniest Mom in America,” and was a finalist at the Las Vegas Comedy
Festival.
Jody Kerns: She may come on stage looking like a soccer mom,
but she can kick like a mule! Her material is brutally funny, incredibly
honest, and she doesn’t joke about anything that everyone hasn’t done, thought
about doing or wish they could still do.
