CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Cancellations and requests for refunds will only be accepted through February 3,
2017. Requests should be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed. The following fees will be
charged for cancellation and refunds. 15% for requests received before December
13, 2016; 20% for requests received before January 14, 2017; and 30% after
January 31, 2017. Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for processing.

deadline for conference rates is Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Hilton. You can
also make reservations at the Marriott Richmond Hotel: 1-800-228-9290. The deadline for conference rates is on or before Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

The late Rev. Dr. Samuel DeWitt Proctor was Pastor Emeritus of the Abyssinian Baptist Church of New York City and Professor
Emeritus at Rutgers University. Dr. Proctor was President of Virginia Union University, Richmond, VA and North Carolina A&T
State University. He held administrative positions with the Peace Corps in Nigeria and Washington, D.C. and the National Council
of Churches. He was Pastor-In-Residence for the Institute for Child Advocacy at Children’s Defense Fund/Haley Farm. He was
awarded honorary doctorate degrees from more than 50 colleges and universities. Dr. Proctor was a prolific writer and preacher,
authoring We Have This Ministry, How Shall They Hear, and Sermons from the Black Pulpit, among many other books and articles.
