Ride Guide
At night, just ask your operator to let you off anywhere
along a regular route other than at a regular stop, where
safe to do so. Please notify your operator ahead of time.
Night Stop
Lost, hurt or in trouble? Anyone in need of help can seek
the haven of any Regina Transit bus. Flag down a bus or get
on at the nearest stop. Trained Transit operators have
9-1-1 access to provide assistance.
SafeBus
Space on the bike rack is available on a first come first
serve basis. If the bike rack is full (has 2 bikes on it) you will
have to wait for the next bus.
All Regina Transit buses are equipped with easy to use bike
racks. The racks are mounted to the front of each bus and
hold two bikes. Easy to follow instructions are printed on
the rack. Bikes are loaded and unloaded by the bike rider
from the curb side of the bus. If you are unsure, ask the bus
operator for instructions.
For registration

If you board a second bus within an hour of paying for
your original trip, the smart technology in the system
will identify your next trip as a transfer. If you pay with
coins, you will need to ask the operator for a paper
transfer. When paying for more than one fare with
the R-Card, the second person must request a paper
transfer.

Why tackle traffic and parking? For $2.00 each way,
let Regina Transit take you to and from Roughrider
games. Buses leave 90 and 45 minutes before game
time. Buses will depart 20 minutes after the game.
The drop off and pick up location is on 10th Avenue,
just east of Mosaic Stadium from these locations:

You are able to claim the cost of Transit passes for
monthly or longer duration on your income tax return
for the year in which you purchased the pass(es). You
must keep your receipts issued by the Transit Agent at
time of purchase. Regina Transit cannot be responsible
for reprinting receipts. You can claim this credit on
behalf of your spouse, common-law partner and your
children under the age of 19. Additional information
is available on the Canada Revenue agency website at
www.cra.gc.ca
The energy used by a Transit rider taking the bus
over 40 years is equal to the energy used by a car
driver in just four years.
The average 40-foot Transit bus replaces about
50 cars.
The approximate total annual cost of operating a car
is $8,904 annually* while buying a Regina Transit monthly adult pass costs $708 a year.
*(Source: Runzheimer Canada)
Low-floor buses provide better accessibility to regular
Transit routes. The bus kneels to get near curb level.
A low-angle ramp unfolds to allow easy access.
Designated securement areas, for persons using
mobility devices, are located at the front of the bus.
Please show courtesy to anyone needing to use these
areas.
