ON BOARD EQUIPMENT:
The choice of equipment is not by chance.
We are based on well known worldwide suppliers
that also meets our requirements for warranty
policies. Today we use equipment from HP, Cisco,
IBM, KVH, APC, Eaton, ZyXEL and Netgear. The
equipment is supplied in suitable cabinets.
SeaNet Standard
Central components:
SeaNet Standard is an off shore network up to 25
workstations and is an extension of SeaNet Mini,
this compared to resources and other available
features. The network is scaled for more workstations and several different networks for example
for crew net, sub-contractors, client net etc.

The system, technical knowledge and support are
based on more than 10 years experience in the field.
Both physical installation and configuration of
equipment and procedures, firewall and antivirus
programs ensure a solid operation and optimized
performance of accessible Vsat capacity.
Fault tolerance on critical equipment
The delivery is based on familiar office systems (MS
Office) with e-mail, maintenance systems (customer
specific), document systems (customer specific) and
interaction with machine suppliers (hour counters or
cargo programs). We bring in the existing
communication carriers on board and make use of
the “leased cost routing”. This means that the
system always chooses the most cost effective
carrier onboard.
Compressed/zipped traffic
For us to be able to take total responsibility, we
require that Globetech handles all installation,
testing and training, configuration of several
communication channels and re-entering existing
data that has been cleaned. The clients Microsoft
licenses are used in the installation.
