USB Mini-B Signal from repeater or wireless extender USB Power Sensing (If applicable) Connect the PS3IR-1000 Connect the Mini-B USB cable between the “USB” input of the PS3IR-1000 and the USB charger. Connect the USB Power Sensing cable between a USB port on the PS3 and the “PS” input of the PS3IR-1000. If using a repeater or wireless extender, use the PS3IR-1000’s “IR” input. Use a non-attenuating 3.5 mm mono cable. Set Up Your Universal Remote For Harmony remotes, go to “Game Console with DVD” and select Schmartz as a manufacturer. Activity: “Watch a Movie”. For URC remotes, use code 648. For all other remotes, use the PRONTO codes supplied on the PS3IR-1000 web page. These codes are similar to PS2 codes. Please refer to your universal remote manual for detailed instructions. If needed, download the software utility and use the “Teach Your Remote” tab to generate the infrared signals.
