Brass wire domed bird cage with brass finial and ring handle on a wood, gilt and carved gesso carved square base with chamfered corners and wind on the right side; 2 birds inside, one on a brass perch with colorful feathers, beaded eyes and surrounding filigree. The mechanical birds flick their tails, rotate their heads and move their beaks while whistling a tune. Capehart, case has 2 tone wood veneers, a curved front lid with etched viewing glass exposing the selector and turn table mechanisms with golden lit up panels on the sides of the top both inside and out; the base has red panels on the sides behind vertical slats and saffron & red plastics in the lower door panel around the speaker with pierced carved wood overlays. The chromed top has a rotary selector under the play button with the coin receiver at the top, play from 24 selections. Signed on a metal tag on the back with model number 72 and serial number M6975. The large target cabinet is 3 feet tall and 3.5 feet wide, has a reverse painted glass viewing as “a window into the forest”, bear figure runs around a cluster of trees with a hound dog chasing it, the rifle fires a laser at the display and if you can hit the bear in one of the light sensor lenses on his body, he stands up on his rear legs and rotates giving you a chance to shoot the 3 sensors; when the bear goes back down to 4 feet, he runs in the opposite direction. The game gives you 20 shots each turn and keeps track of your hits, has great sound effect including the firing gun and the growling bear. 1 play for a dime and 3 games for a quarter. The game is complete and fully functional with display box and shooting stand with rifle holster and dual coin slots. Highlighted with chromed escutcheons and grill in front of the speaker, mosaic mirrored borders along the sides, plays 24 records and has a receiver for nickels, dimes and quarters. Signed on a metal tag with model number 1015 and serial number on tag and stamped in case 1025081, case is nicely redone.
