Any persons other than the student are defined as Third Party, including parents, spouses, and employers. (For Example: VA PrePaid 529 pays only tuition and mandatory fees only. It does not cover program fees, lab fees, software charges). Once the Virginia College Savings Plan is properly informed and proper documentation submitted, VCSP will notify Virginia Tech resulting in a pending credit applied to the student account.
