London's vibrant art scene hosts the world every October, as collectors, dealers and artists converge on the city for the international art fairs. This boutique contemporary fair will showcase some of the world's most exciting emerging and established artists in a refined salon setting. Located on Tottenham Court Road in the heart of London's West End, and within walking distance from both Frieze Art Fair and Zoo Art Fair, Red Dot London at The Radisson Edwardian Grafton Hotel is a unique experience for art lovers. Contemporary art galleries from around the world will exhibit in individual hotel rooms converted into bespoke galleries, creating an intimate and informal setting for collectors to discover art and meet with international dealers. The fair will be held on the first floor of this elegant hotel, enabling art lovers to easily move between exhibitors. The four-day fair also include video screenings, performance art and on- and off-site events. Exhibitors at the event include UK galleries Jill George Gallery, Cynthia Corbett Gallery, Mumford Fine Art, Oc-Eo Art, Opus Art, Pop 21, Salon Russe, Voices Over Water, Blaize, and Johnny Green; US galleries Denise Bibro Fine Art, Scott Richards Contemporary Art, Shooting Gallery, Décorazon Gallery, Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, Projects Gallery and George Billis Gallery LA. Also exhibiting are Newzones Gallery from Canada, G-77 from Russia, Ferran Cano from Spain, Franco Senesi Fine Art from Italy, and Juan Ruiz Galeria from Venezuela. Installation artist Ke-Sook Lee, who recently completed an exhibition at the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, will transform the common areas of the fair with her work, and “Ocular Echoist” and Brooklyn-based contemporary street artist Ellis G. will be creating his chalk designs around the Red Dot venue and at Red Dot events scheduled throughout the weekend. Red DOT will also be screening multimedia works from Brian Eno, Sarah Baker, David Somerville and Johnny Green at the Grafton hotel and during the evening events. Red Dot is a regular fixture on the art fair calendar, with successful fairs in New York City and Miami Beach in addition to the inaugural London fair. Red Dot London is co-produced by London-based Marketing, PR and event planner Colleen Theis and New York City-based Red Dot fair owner George Billis.
