Nantucket Sound and a walk from the top of Main

L7 BABCOCK PLANTATION: Southern charm at
its best!!!! Babcock Plantation is located in prime
quail and deer territory in southwest Georgia. Your
stay will include 3 days and 4 nights in a century
old restored Georgia cracker style house. Pack
your bags and let us do the rest. We can accommodate any level of hunter from experienced to
novice. We will provide fully guided walking quail
hunts. If you prefer to deer hunt we have established tree stands for archery or gun hunter as well
as portable blinds. And maybe even a wild hog! A
shooting range is available as well as shooting clays
for midday fun!! Rocking chairs on the front porch
are a great place to relax and talk or sneak away to
the screened back porch to read a book. With clear
skies and thousands of stars above the fire pit it is
a great place to unwind and tell tales of the day’s
hunt! You will start your day with fresh made biscuits and jelly made from plums and blackberries
picked wild at Babcock. Hunting is usually better
when it is cooler. Late November is the ideal time!!
