JULY
Focus On Environmental Health
July is UV Safety Month
Environmental health is all about the things that surround
you. Your house, your community, the air you breathe, the
sunshine and the water you drink! July is UV Safety Month and
UV (ultraviolet rays) are the main cause of skin cancer. While
taking advantage of the warm July weather, encourage family
and friends to adopt good health habits such as wearing
sunscreen and limiting time in the sun.

What is Pittsburgh 365?
Pittsburgh 365 Is a community initiative to encourage
our neighbors to participate in available health services
and programs throughout the year so that they can live their
best life possible. Healthy communities do more than just
exercise and eat right, they focus on all five areas of health.
