INFORMATION FOR THE 130th SKL LOTTERY
1. THE SKL: LUCK GUARANTEED BY THE GERMAN STATE
The SKL is an institution under public law. It is established and run by the
German states of Baden-Wurttemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony and Thuringia. These states guarantee correct execution
of the lottery, the limit to the number of tickets issued and the number
and amount of the prizes.
The total prize amount and the number of prizes are predetermined –
unlike in games such as Toto or Lotto – before the beginning of the
lottery. This is independent of the number of lottery tickets sold and
will be released in an Official Lottery Programme. Therefore, you
always know precisely when and how much you
can win. You don’t have to share your prizes
with others as it is often the case in such games
as Lotto – when for example more participants
have bet on the same numbers.
2. THE GAME: 6 CLASSES AND 3,000,000 TICKETS
There are 3,000,00 SKL ticket numbers from which you, as a participant,
can buy as many as you wish. The SKL raffles cash prizes every day by
drawing winning numbers from a special lottery drawing machine. This
event takes place under supervision of the State. If one or more of your
ticket numbers are drawn, you have won your proportional share of the
amount.
Each lottery runs six months – which the SKL calls “classes”. The beginning of the lottery is always the 1st of June and the 1st of December.
One full ticket costs 150 € and is valid for 1 class. Therefore, your payment lets you participate in all draws for a full month*. Your lottery
agency will automatically offer you a new lottery ticket with your
number(s) for the following class, with which you can continue your
participation for as long as you wish. Of course, you can stop your
participation at the end of each class without any further costs.

3. PRIZES: DAILY 1 MILLION EURO AND MORE
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday you can win 1 million €. On Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays, the SKL pays out 1,000 x 1,000 €, making a total
of 1 million €. The weekly highlight of the SKL is the Saturday. On that
day, many other amounts between 200 € and 100,000 € will be paid out
in addition to the million-prize.
With every new class, the number of prizes as well as the amounts of the
Saturday prizes increase – and you get all of this for the same ticket price.
In particular, the top-prize on the 1st Saturday increases on a monthly basis
from 1 million € in the 1st class up to 6 million € in the 6th class. Your
chances get better from month to month! And in the final 6th class of the
SKL lottery, not only the most prizes are paid out but also the highest prize.
If you take part in all 6 classes, then on the last Saturday you can win
16 million €** with one ticket!
At month’s end, all participants who have missed out on a prize in the

previous class get a double chance: This draw will raffle another 1,000 x
1,000 € only for them. And there is something new in the 130th lottery:
At the beginning of each class there are 10 monthly annuities of
10,000 € each and 20 monthly annuities of 5,000 € to be won, which
will all be paid out for 10 years tax free.

4. CLEVER COMBINATIONS: PLAY WITH 1/10th OF A TICKET
8. JOKER TICKETS: GREAT EXTRA CHANCES FOR JUST 10€!
The chance of winning is higher, the more different ticket numbers
you play. To keep the expenses affordable, you can play 1/10th tickets for
15 € instead of full tickets. If the number of your ticket is drawn, you
will receive 1/10th of the total prize amount. Of course, you can buy
several shares of one and the same ticket number and consequently
collect the proportional amount if you are lucky.
In connection to the Game of Millions described before, the SKL has two
attractive additional games: for 10 € a month, you have great chances
of winning super prizes every day with the EURO-JOKER or the
TRAUM-JOKER – and independent of the SKL lottery game, you can
enter and exit conveniently from month to month.
For example, instead of a 1/10th ticket you can buy three 1/10th tickets
with different numbers. This triples your chances of winning. Should
you however buy three 1/10th tickets of one and the same number,
you triple your actual prize. Thus, with 1/10th tickets you can arrange
your own personal winning strategy.

6. IDEAL ENTRY: ALWAYS THE 1st CLASS
Experienced SKL lottery players always play right from the beginning.
One can, of course, enter the game later on. However, the monthly stake
for the preceding classes must be paid retroactively. This is based on
the principle of the class lottery system. The amounts and number of
prizes increase from class to class.

9. PRIZE NOTIFICATION: HOW TO FIND OUT IF YOU HAVE WON
You can check the drawing results at all times on www.skl.de or teletext
(ARD p. 586, ZDF p. 562). It is even more convenient if you register your
ticket number(s) in a DepotPlus account on www.skl.de. On request,
we will inform you free of charge with a text message or an e-mail as
soon as you can call yourself a winner!
10. PARTICIPATION: YOU CAN GET YOUR SKL TICKETS HERE
SKL and JOKER tickets can be bought at all Official Lottery Agencies
and Official Sales Agencies – either directly or per mail-order.
7. SPECIAL CASE OF THE “1st SATURDAY”:
THE RENEWAL TICKETS
It is a special case if your ticket number is drawn on the first Saturday of
the month. Such lucky tickets (or more specifically their ticket numbers)
are withdrawn in the classes 1-5* at the end of the month. If you want to
continue participating, you can re-enter the game with a so-called renewal ticket with a new number. Even the smallest prize of a 1st Saturday
draw covers the cost of your renewal ticket!
* On the 1st and 2nd Saturday of the 6th class, all winning numbers will be withdrawn at the
end of the next Friday
