SUPERCHARGER SERVICES
We offer upgrade, exchange and rebuild services to the owners of our supercharger products. This can be ideal for the individual who has
changed the performance characteristics of their engine and may require compressor modifications. It can be done at a fraction of the
cost of a new unit. Services are performed at our center by highly skilled technicians. Any service work done to a Vortech supercharger
outside our facility will void the original warranty and is not recommended.

This upgrade includes a high-efficiency, curved blade S-Trim
impeller that is high-speed, precision (race-spec) balanced, new
S-Trim compressor housing, replacement of all bearings and seals,
new select-fit impeller spacer and nut, new compressor retainers,
detailed inspection of all supercharger components, balancing and
assembly labor.
Upgrade V-1 SC-Trim to V-1 S-Trim
This upgrade includes a high-efficiency, curved blade S-Trim impeller
that is high-speed, precision (race-spec) balanced, new selectfit impeller spacer and nut, new compressor retainers, detailed
inspection of supercharger components, balancing and assembly
labor. This is a popular upgrade for the 1996-1998 Ford Mustang
Cobra. For the 1986-1993 Mustang, the above modifications also
includes upgraded aluminum discharge duct with Bosch bypass
valve, hoses, tee, fittings, clamps and inlet elbow with boss. Only
recommended for vehicles equipped with a charge cooler and/or
aftermarket pistons.

impeller that is high-speed, precision (race-spec) balanced, new
select-fit impeller spacer and nut, new compressor retainers,

assembly labor.
Upgrade Heavy Duty V-1 R-Trim to T-Trim
This upgrade includes a new volute, machining of the gear case
to accept the new T-Trim impeller, replacement of all bearings and
seals, new high-flow curved blade T-Trim impeller that is highspeed, precision (race-spec) balanced, new compressor retainers,
detailed inspection of all supercharger components, balancing and
assembly labor.

SUPERCHARGER EXCHANGE SERVICE
SUPERCHARGER REBUILDING SERVICE
For those seeking more than is offered with the Upgrade Service,
our Supercharger Exchange Program allows retail customers a credit
of up to $1,000 toward the cost of a new unit. Certain limitations
and restrictions apply; consult our product support department
for more information.
Vortech offers two factory rebuild options. Our Minor Service
includes replacement of all bearings, seals, inspection of all
supercharger components, balancing and assembly labor. The
Major Service includes all of the above plus gears (upgraded to
current specifications where applicable).
Please Note: Prior to sending a supercharger to us for service, please call our technical support department for a return authorization number. For upgrades and rebuilding service,
if the inspection reveals that additional components and/or labor are needed, the customer will be notified for approval prior to completion. A $100 inspection fee will apply on
all upgrades and rebuilds where the customer has decided not to continue due to additional parts and/or labor required. Normal turnaround on factory supercharger services is
