Nolte Academy Summer 2015 Camps and Classes 15 no lte ac a d e m y Where artists grow. Dear Nolte Academy families, This year, we have been celebrating a special milestone -- Nolte Academy’s 15th Anniversary. Since we opened our doors in 2000, we’ve expanded our dance program to become one of the most awarded in the midwest. We built and moved to a new building on the Coralville Strip. We’ve added voice, acting and theatre to our offerings, and in 2012, welcomed our first class at Performing Arts Preschool. We couldn’t have accomplished these goals without the support of families who believe in arts education, and who place their trust in us to help their children grow and realize their own dreams. My deepest gratitude to our Nolte Academy family of the past 15 years. We can’t wait to watch our next generation of young artists grow! We have a variety of exciting offerings this summer and hope you choose to spend some of your summer days with us! You can choose from musical camps, intensive weeks with guest faculty, evening classes, Performing Arts Preschool camps and more. See you this summer! Our goal is to create a funfilled, confidence building, team inspired experience. Over the course of our two weeks in camp, we will put together a one act, fully staged musical! Every camp participant will be cast in the musical. No audition for the camp is necessary. All campers will learn through daily classes to sing, dance, and act from our gifted staff of teachers and counselors. We believe theatre is a team sport. One that requires every member of the cast and crew to work together and to help and learn from each other. For kids, it is a great way to learn that being part of a successful team effort (while having fun) is what's most important. Broadway Bootcamp is open to all children entering grades 3 through 10. Grades will be divided 3rd-6th grades and 7th-10th grades for classes and exercises. Camp runs for two weeks, July 20th - 31st. We will finish camp with 2 performances at CCPA on Saturday, August 1st. Casting for the musical will happen after registration is closed. 1619 2nd Street, Coralville, IA 52241, 319.688.9289, frontdesk@nolteacademy.com, www.nolteacademy.com
