Students will create fun, thinking out of the box projects,
using a variety of mixed media materials including broken
jewelry and toys, seashells, clay, melted crayons, newspapers and magazines, paint, printing blocks, boxes, and wood.
Experimenting with ideas and materials is encouraged.
Students will also look at the work of other artists to
become inspired. It’s a great way to have fun while using
critical thinking and problem solving skills or by just being
spontaneous! Always new projects for students who have
worked in class with me previously.

Finding your Creative Voice
In this course the adult artist who has already developed
certain basic skills in picture making will begin to develop a
deeper relationship with the part of themselves from which
creation emerges. Participants will bring work in to discuss
with others and will keep a sketchbook and journal.
Through this experiential class the artist will develop confidence in his or her own unique expression and a sense of
fulfillment in recognizing and translating their soul’s voice.
