1968 Jensen Interceptor FF Registration no. 76 D Chassis no. 119/030 Engine: Chrysler 6276cc V8 Power:325bhp 0-60mph:8.4secs Top speed:130mp 12mph This vehicle has been in the ownership of Roger Dudding since the 1968 and holds fond memories for both him and his son Guy. The vehicle was the subject of a major restoration in the earley 1990’s since when it has been meticulasly maintaned as part of Roger’s collection with outings being few and far between Stealing the limelight at the 1966 London Motor Show was Jensen’s new FF with its advanced Ferguson Formula, four-wheel drive and the DunlopMaxaret anti-lock braking system. The Torqueflite automatic gearbox was fitted as standard to the FF which could be distinguished externally from the Interceptor by JFF badging. The front of the car was three inches longer with twin side ventilators each side and the grille and headlamp layout was restyled. The FF was powered by the same torquey V8 Chrysler engine as the Interceptor. Although it was a highly influential vehicle in a technical sense, the FF was not all that commercially successful. Its price was high — about 30% higher than the Jensen Interceptor, and more than that of luxury GTs from much more prestigious makes
